Went for dinner with 3 friends on a Friday night - was not busy at all.
Atmosphere: dim lighting, low music so you can talk, comfortable & nice decor. Bathroom left a lot to be desired... very dark, sketchy screwdriver taped to the light switch, only one.
Food was disappointing unfortunately. The reason the resto gets 3 stars is because the onion bhaji are phenomenal, & baigan bartha also very good. Everything else was either too sweet or too dry. The lamb korma & butter chicken were SO sweet. Pakora, biryani rice, paneer tikka - all were dry & not the best.
Service is really the hardest part for this establishment. There were maybe 3 or 4 tables in the whole restaurant & it was incredibly slow service. Pleasant but literally absent. would go 15-20minutes stretches without ever seeing someone who works there coming through the floor.

Très bonne expérience dans ce restaurant indien ! Le poulet au beurre était délicieux & parfaitement goûteux, un vrai régal. Les oignons bhaji étaient bien croustillants & savoureux, & le lamb vindaloo vraiment bon - à recommander si vous aimez les plats bien épicés. Petite déception du côté des cocktails, les saveurs étaient un peu étranges à notre goût. Le service un peu long. Malgré ça, c'est une adresse que je retiens & où je reviendrai avec plaisir.Voir plus

Ça a pris plus d'une heure avant de recevoir nos boissons, bien que nous n'étions que 4 personnes & que le restaurant était presque vide. On a précisé à plusieurs reprises qu'on voulait nos breuvages avant de manger en attendant le repas, afin de boire le vin que nous avions commandé avec le repas ensuite. La serveuse qui baragouinait à peine le français faisait semblant de comprendre ce que je lui disais, pour finalement apportez nos boissons avec le repas. Pendant plus d'une heure, nous n'avons pas eu de remplissage d'eau, elle n'est pas venue vérifier si tout allait bien, rien. On pensait pouvoir prendre un drink ou deux avant le repas pour goûter à leurs fameux cocktails, mais on n'a pas pu. Pendant ce temps-là les serveurs jasaient tranquillement derrière le bar. La bouffe était bonne, mais pire service ever!Voir plus

First time here & bought Alloo Gobi & Karahi chicken take away, both were excellent. Very fresh. I didn't experience that fresh food in whole Toronto area. Excellent food. Will visit again if I ever been in that area again.Voir plus

Service was indifferent.
We ordered large curries to share but the bowls were too small

Unfortunately not a good experience. The food was bland & lacked attention to details. The Allo Gobi was pretty much tasteless, the Fried mushrooms were still raw inside, the Chana masala wasn't fully cooked, the lentil patties were very cold. I've been to Rasoi a few years ago & it's sad to see how it has become. The bathrooms were dirty & smelled like moisture. What a shame…. Not sure if the owners are aware of the lack of care the staff has for providing a good experience to patrons. With the right management, this place can get back on track. I hope they do.Voir plus

Définitivement le meilleur restaurant indien où j'ai mangé ! Nous étions 6 & nous avons tous vraiment aimé ! La déco aussi est vraiment très belle. Les prix sont plus que raisonnable. 50$ avec tip pour 1 entree, plat & boisson. Une belle adresse à absolument essayer !Voir plus
