The foundation of Rasoï is built on three key elements: fresh high-quality ingredients, traditional Indian cuisine, a cozy & warm ambiance and a friendly staff that will make you feel like you are part of the family.
Rasoï puts a lot of emphasis on using the highest quality meats, seafood, vegetables and fruits, and creating tantalizing flavors using traditional family recipes. Rasoï takes you to India by creating an ambiance full of bright colours, mouth-watering aromas, and a vibrant energy. Our staff will always make you feel at home and part of the family with our friendly service and attention to detail in order to provide you with the best dining experience.
Rasoi welcomes guests with a warm, cozy atmosphere and a kitchen that crafts flavorful, authentic Indian dishes that many reviews describe as home style done right. The menu features creamy butter chicken, fragrant biryani with tender meat, and soft garlic naan that pairs beautifully with curries, while appetizers like onion bhaji and veg momos add variety and texture. Dishes arrive with careful presentation and generous portions, and prices are described as fair for quality and flavor. The service is consistently friendly and patient, helping guests with recommendations and creating a relaxed, unhurried dining experience. The ambience stays comfortable for conversations and gatherings, with a vibe that is both refined and welcoming, making it a standout spot for friends and family. Desserts and drinks such as gulab jamun and rasmalai, along with a refreshing lassi, are well received, and many reviewers leave planning a return visit, citing reliable flavors and thoughtful preparation as reasons to come back.
Underrated. Went for breakfast. No one there. Got an omelette & a Thali. Fine flavors, fresh fluffy naan, meats & veggies not drenched in over-powering curry. Not a bit of digestive discomfort unlike so many indian restaurants I've been too. Highly recommend.
Delicious food & lots of seating space! We got the onion bhaji, chili paneer, chicken vindaloo, baigan bartha, lamb korma, naan, & biryani. Our favourites were the chili paneer, onion bhaji, & lamb korma. Everything was delicious!!!!! Would recommend for any group setting. Prices are average, & portions are approriate-not large, but good for one person.
Very good. I suggest their spiciest lamb vindaloo. Spicier than most meals in quebec, but not as spicy as I was hoping. Still, very above average cuisine, service & ambiance. Restaurant was very clean.
Great visit again here, honestly love it every time. The vibe is really hip, with a fun British Indian music Playlist, & 90s hip hop. Service was a bit slow at times & they seemed confused, but all orders came out & bills were accurate. Food: to die for. Still the best butter chicken I've had. The Onion Bahji was scrumptious, & the Chana samosa. The chicken wings are classic & worth it. Value was good too, the most expensive is the drinks. But boy they are good. It's too bad it's not more busy, we did not need a reservation on Saturday night even for 6 people. Hoping they stick around because this is really worth it.
The service was extremely slow. We ordered both drinks & food, yet after an hour, we still only had water on our table. While the samosas were tasty, the rest of the meal was just average. The atmosphere is lovely, with a warm vibe, but given the many better options in the area, I can't recommend this place. Additionally, the staff didn't speak French.

We had the non veg samosa 👌 & tandoori chicken, both were really delicious! We had a few more dishes but it was sometime ago so don't remember but overall experience was good! Clean environment, good service, quality food!
A perfect place to enjoy Indian cuisine in the city of Montreal. The quality of food is exceptional, the staff goes the extra mile to fulfill customers requests. For instance, one of my family members needed a bun with the egg bhurji (like "anda bhurji paav" in India). The staff made that available even it wasn't listed in Menu, at no extra cost. Parking could be little challenging as need to find a space on the street. Otherwise, experience was really good.
