Ordered my normal vindaloo & it has no flavour except chili powder, but it's still not spicy, doesn't make sense. Biryani is bland too, bawarchis is miles bette
I was hired as a photographer for the 50th birthday celebrated at this restaurant. Highly recommend for cozy intimate atmosphere & the owners are so accomodating with everything. The food as well as excellent & appreciated by all, both Indian nationals as well as north americans.
Visited this Indian restaurant Rasoi recently & found the food to be fairly average, Bhindi masala was very nice & had good flavor, but overall nothing really stood out. The bigger letdown for me on a personal base however, was the ambience - look was good but it didn't feel very inviting or comfortable, & the atmosphere could definitely use some improvement to match the dining experience. It had a bad old & rusty smell, With better attention to the setting & presentation, this place could have more potential.
Service was nice.
One of the best Indian restaurants I've visited! The food was fresh, flavorful, & truly authentic. The service was excellent from harry he is very polite, attentive, & made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend for anyone who loves great food .

Griffintown is a vibrant, fast-growing neighborhood just southwest of downtown Montreal, in the borough of Le Sud-Ouest. One of the biggest challenges here might be finding a parking spot-so be prepared to circle around a bit. As for Rasoï, it's a standout, known for its modern take on Indian cuisine, blending classic flavors with contemporary presentation & creative fusion touches-& it never disappoints. Every time I dine at Rasoï, I'm reminded of just how much I love Indian food.
Had an amazing experience here. Best Indian food in town. The guy (Hardik) was really helpful.
Underrated. Went for breakfast. No one there. Got an omelette & a Thali. Fine flavors, fresh fluffy naan, meats & veggies not drenched in over-powering curry. Not a bit of digestive discomfort unlike so many indian restaurants I've been too. Highly recommend.
Great visit again here, honestly love it every time. The vibe is really hip, with a fun British Indian music Playlist, & 90s hip hop. Service was a bit slow at times & they seemed confused, but all orders came out & bills were accurate. Food: to die for. Still the best butter chicken I've had. The Onion Bahji was scrumptious, & the Chana samosa. The chicken wings are classic & worth it. Value was good too, the most expensive is the drinks. But boy they are good. It's too bad it's not more busy, we did not need a reservation on Saturday night even for 6 people. Hoping they stick around because this is really worth it.
A perfect place to enjoy Indian cuisine in the city of Montreal. The quality of food is exceptional, the staff goes the extra mile to fulfill customers requests. For instance, one of my family members needed a bun with the egg bhurji (like "anda bhurji paav" in India). The staff made that available even it wasn't listed in Menu, at no extra cost. Parking could be little challenging as need to find a space on the street. Otherwise, experience was really good.
My favorite indian place to eat at. Food never disappoints & the decor is unique.
Great vibe & yummy food, loved the beverages, must try this restaurant for a good indian food. & they have a cute patio too, definitely recommend this place ❤️
Recommended for indian food... garlic naan & paneer was upto the mark...soya malai chaap was good only if you like sweetness in taste...✌🏻
Great spot for Indian cuisine! I ordered the butter chicken which was good, & a lamb madras curry that I think was even better. My favorite was the vegetarian samosas, they were huge & so flavorful, the sauce they serve it with is really good too. We also got naan, which is as good as any. Just remember when looking at prices that the rice is ordered separate.
Outstanding decor, amazing drink menu & best indian food I've had in a long time.
