Unfortunately not a good experience. The food was bland & lacked attention to details. The Allo Gobi was pretty much tasteless, the Fried mushrooms were still raw inside, the Chana masala wasn't fully cooked, the lentil patties were very cold. I've been to Rasoi a few years ago & it's sad to see how it has become. The bathrooms were dirty & smelled like moisture. What a shame…. Not sure if the owners are aware of the lack of care the staff has for providing a good experience to patrons. With the right management, this place can get back on track. I hope they do.
Définitivement le meilleur restaurant indien où j'ai mangé ! Nous étions 6 & nous avons tous vraiment aimé ! La déco aussi est vraiment très belle. Les prix sont plus que raisonnable. 50$ avec tip pour 1 entree, plat & boisson. Une belle adresse à absolument essayer !
Waited about 45 minutes for butter chicken, they just forgot about the order & it wasn't rush hour. Giving one more star just for the complimentary drink
It's a beautiful place, the plate are tapas size, So you can take a few plates & share.. The cocktails are not the best.. & it's very hard to find parking in that area.
Sure you need to prioritize taste & presentation but be mindful of the health factor too. In the recent order, we found excessive food color & unnecessarily high levels of cream n oil. Please take a note!
Griffintown is a vibrant, fast-growing neighborhood just southwest of downtown Montreal, in the borough of Le Sud-Ouest. One of the biggest challenges here might be finding a parking spot-so be prepared to circle around a bit. As for Rasoï, it's a standout, known for its modern take on Indian cuisine, blending classic flavors with contemporary presentation & creative fusion touches-& it never disappoints. Every time I dine at Rasoï, I'm reminded of just how much I love Indian food.
