About

Raja serves a diverse array of authentic Indian dishes prepared according to strict halal standards. The menu features complex spice blends utilized in traditional curries, alongside tender proteins cooked in a classic clay tandoor oven. Patrons encounter a wide selection of vegetarian options, including robust lentil preparations and paneer dishes seasoned with aromatic herbs. Freshly baked naan bread provides a staple accompaniment to every meal, offering a soft texture that pairs well with rich, savory sauces. Each plate emphasizes consistency and bold flavors rooted in regional culinary techniques. This establishment maintains a focused approach to South Asian cuisine, prioritizing the integrity of traditional cooking methods to deliver quality food. The environment remains dedicated to these authentic flavors, ensuring that every selection reflects the core principles of Indian culinary heritage through careful preparation and ingredient selection.

This is the third time that I have visited. The food was fine the first two times. I ordered a wrap & some poutine. After waiting close to 15 minutes, I was informed that it would take another 5 minutes.

The young woman who took the order in the first place needed to take the order using numbers. Words were difficult. I have no idea what was happening in the kitchen. Meat. Bread. Fries. Sauce. Close to 20 minutes is excessive.

Foods is pretty good & cheap. My favorites are the tandoori chicken legs & thighs, kothu roti, & all there fried stuff like Indian rolls, chicken roti & samosas.

Horrible food:

- Naan: they serve naans bought in the frozen food section of grocery stores which are then microwaved;
- Main dishes: essentially use all the same generic sauce which is just modified with hot sauce & food coloring depending on the name of the dish;
- Autenticity : they serve appetizers with bbq sauce instead of the traditional flavorful sauces;

Don't waste your time or money
