I don't like the taste of the food or the portions. The server was very nice & the service was fast. The smell of the restrooms spreads throughout the restaurant.
I ordered eggs & bacon, they are over cooked, I asked waitress to tell her, they did not remake or change my meal, she bring back to the kitchen & gave me the bill, just say' sorry'
At the end I have to pay for nothing.

We were a large vegetarian group & ordered Spaghetti with Rosée sauce, Tortellini with Rosée sauce, Fettuccine Alfredo, Cheese Pizza (Naturelle), Vegetarian Pizza, Vegetarian Sub Sandwich Trio deal (with fries & a drink), Baked Spaghetti/Salad/drink trio deal). They also gave us a couple baskets of toasted & buttered rolls. The food was delicious, the portions were beyond generous, the prices were reasonable & the service was wonderful! Our server was so kind & helpful & attentive even though we mostly didn't speak any French. If we are ever in Montreal again, this will be on our list to repeat.
I did a take out poutine & I arrived home not too far from the restaurant the poutine was cold, looks like the fries were already fried for long time & they just add the hot sauce to pretend the poutine was hot. I'm very disappointed. Since it got new owners this place is never the same ever again. I don't recommend.
Watched the England-France match here & the service was incredible, we were brought cake for free & they even put the sound up on the TV for us. Great food & drinks.
Quand on avait fait les plans de se voir cette soirée-là, je ne savais pas encore que plus tôt dans la journée, que iel allait débarquer à 14h30 chez moi pour m'annoncer qu'iel m'aimait mais qu'iel'était pu capable'. Je pense que tu t'en doutais que ça n'allait pas bien depuis un moment, mais tu ne t'attendais sûrement pas à aller souper tard avec moi la soirée même de la nouvelle tragique. Ça fesait longtemps qu'on ne s'était pas vu, & j'étais content de te voir, & j'aurais aimé être dans un meilleur mood pour célébrer nos sous-marins huileux & nos spaghetti réconfortant dont la sauce me rappelle la sauce de tous les autres diners similaires du Québec. Il y a un goût très spécifique associé à cette sauce qu'on reconnaît : elle s'éloigne de la sauce à maman, en se rapprochant davantage de celle de souper spaghetti de sous-sol d'église, tout en conservant tout de même, sur cette zone du spectre, ses caractéristiques distinctives. La serveuse était très sympathique & avait illuminé la pire journée que j'avais vécu depuis mon break up de Vancouver. Moi-même connaissant l'industrie de la restauration, je l'ai très bien tippé en guise de remerciement ; un geste qui voulait dire :'tu ne sais pas qui tu as aidé ce soir avec ta personnalité.'
Pendant qu'on mangeait, une toune quétaine de La Chicane (je pense) s'est mise à jouer, créant la plus ironique des situations déjà vraiment difficile.'Tu mmm'mmannque, on a plein de choses à se diiire'. On en a ri parce que qu'est-ce que tu veux faire d'autres en plein milieu d'un restaurant?
La bouffe était bonne : comfort food, exactement ce qui peut apaiser le coeur de quiconque est en peine.
The cheeseburger is absolutely necessary & recommended!! With tomatoes, onions lettuce & relish. It has the flavour from the older diners. This has been in business since 1966
