Qing Hua Dumpling is described as a go-to spot for fresh, flavorful dumplings with favorites like pork and shrimp, chicken coriander, and vegan options such as cabbage and mushroom, all available steamed or pan fried and often enjoyed at a central, convenient location. The service is consistently friendly and efficient, with fast turnover and a welcoming atmosphere that suits quick lunches or relaxed dinners. Dishes are praised for being freshly made and reasonably priced, offering solid value and satisfying portions, though a few reviews note room for improvement in certain items or ambience. Overall, this place feels like a reliable staple for dumplings in Montreal, widely recommended for those seeking variety, quality, and good vibes.
Been coming here for years, only to find out that all the steamed dumplings have PORK BROTH IN THEM!! It is not advertised on the menu, nor is it stated when ordering. For people who do not eat pork, it is incredibly misleading. Please do something about this, either change your broth or at the very least state it on the menu. It is not right.
Absolutely divine dumpings. One dude working a packed restaurant & was amazing. My & my friends went in Tuesday the 2nd at like 1Pm & loved it. We're from out of town & had such a good time. We had the pork & cabbage (steamed) & the pork & chives (fried) & they were both amazing. & even though it was packed the food came out relatively quickly & was hot.
One of the best Chinese dumplings we have had & the price & portions are reasonable. Probably why this place was packed & we had to wait in line when we came. Wonton is very small in size though & curry beef dumplings are not something we would try again. We used to pork or shrimp dumplings.
The dumplings were ok but the bathrooms were disgusting. There was mold on the walls & it smelled like pee & mold. The mold smell was also noticeable in the restaurant near the cash area. Plates & sauce containers were also dirty. This place really needs to be cleaned & tidied up.
Soup dumplings are so good! I had the shrimp & beef ones. I also had peanut butter raviolis & loved them. Great service too, they kept filling our glasses with water.
Not the best dumpling. Chose fried dumplings beef coriander. Not crispy as expected. Waited 40 minutes before to be served since they privileged online orde
The place is cute & kid friendly. My family liked the chicken dumpling & the hot & sour soup was very good. The service was fast & accommodating. Liked their cucumber salad too.
We went to have lunch. I had zero expectations but the food at this place was unbelievable!!!! We were unable to decide which dumplings we wanted so we tried the chef's choice. 15 dumplings of different flavors. Simply: the best possible choice!!!
