Review Summary

Pushap is celebrated for authentic Indian vegetarian dishes offered at affordable prices, with the thali, samosas, breads and sweets described as comforting and generous in portion. Reviews repeatedly call it a neighborhood gem with a welcoming family owned vibe and friendly service, even as a few notes are raised about service at the counter and limited seating. The food is described as fresh and not overly oily or salty, tasting like home and satisfying hungry diners, with many declaring Pushap the best Indian in town and a go to for value. Payment is sometimes cash only, though some orders via Uber Eats allow card payments and there is mention of limited parking nearby. For those seeking vegetarian Indian cuisine with consistent quality and low prices, Pushap remains a long standing staple that keeps patrons coming back for samosas, sweets and hearty meals.

The atmosphere was very welcoming & the kind gentleman serving & the one on the counter made the experience for me memorable. :) I read the negative reviews before going there, but found the place the exact opposite. The food was served piping hot with delicious condiments & although the Chai was not what I'm used to, it was fragrant & comforting. 4 samosas + Aloo Paratha + Chai for $10. What more could one want in this economy. Definitely worth a visit if you're a desi feeling homesick. ❤️

Very disappointing. We ordered naans (each costing $1.75) hoping that they would be freshly made like at any Indian restaurant. Turns out that they just heat up the naans that you get in a packet at any store & send it across. Such a bad experience when you have guests over & serve them the store brought stuff.

Bonne cuisine, pas chère & très savoureuse. Pour ceux qui aiment la cuisine épicée. Environnement agréable & très propre.

Where else can you find really good 2 pieces of Indian samosa with a tangy chutney that takes you back to Indian food street for $2 in Montreal? I will go there just to have their Samosa, very pocket friendly place but just be aware that it is a Cash only place. We also had Chhola Bhatura & Onion Kulcha, found the chhola bland but at the price point this is an amazing place & must try if you are craving Indian snack

J'y allais chaque semaine. Souvent, plus d'une fois. Puis, j'ai changé de boulot, d'environnement & j'ai cessé de fréquenter l'établissement. J'y suis retourné la semaine dernière... & je me suis régalé!
