PoutineVille is the result of an idea that had simmered for a decade in the heads of three longtime friends. It is the union between the expertise of an experienced chef, Tony Rea and imagination of Kosta Kariotakis, Camillo Fresco and you!
Make your own poutine by choosing the ingredients you want. Add extra vegetables, choose different meats and you can even choose what kind of patato you want. Not feeling creative? Let them serve you one of their pre-made amazing poutines, you won't be disappointed.
Reviews highlight fast, friendly service and a vibrant, sports bar vibe, with generous portions and affordable prices that make it easy to try several poutines. Fries are usually hot and crispy and the cheese curds and toppings offer a fun, customizable take on the classic dish. The build-your-own option and menu staples like pulled pork or smoked meat poutines are frequent favorites, with many praising bold flavors and the generous portions that can be shared. Some notes mention occasional soggy fries or order mix ups, especially with delivery or large groups, and a few diners feel the sauce could be bolder when meat is not included for vegetarians. Overall, PoutineVille comes across as a welcoming spot for poutine lovers who appreciate value, variety, and dependable service.
Amazing, amazing, amazing
Obviously not my first time & still the best steak Philly Poutine in town
Sam The Cook did an amazing job & Isabelle, the waitress was the nicest & the most professional
I got the regular poutine: not enough cheese, cheese was cold, fries badly fried (not crispy). I found the sauce too salty with a weird after taste, but I can see how some people may like it. Toilet was disgusting. At least the hot dog was ok & it wasn't crowded.
We came here as part of a Montreal food tour. The poutine we received was tasty (we had a classic with smoked meat on top).
I have no complaints but of course we didn't have to wait long to be served as it was all prearranged. That said - our experience based on the poutine alone was good!
Best poutine in Montréal
Quality skyrocketed since this very nice Turkish family took over à year & half ago.
Celina the waitress is the nicest person & the most professional
Regular customers quickly get VIP treatment & treats
Solid poutine. I, admittedly, don't love poutine overall, but I felt like I *had* to at least give it a shot while I was in Canada. I came across Poutineville while I was on a Montreal food tour, & it was certainly tasty, but not quite my favorite. The fries were a little bit soggier than I was expecting, & it does feel a bit plain without the meat (for folks who are vegetarian). However, the cheese curds are a fun addition, & I appreciate the level of customization that Poutineville offers, since you can even build your own version of the classic Canadian dish. The staff was remarkably friendly; they had a bit of a hard time keeping track of all our dietary restrictions / modifications, but we also came in with a large group (~15 people), so I fully understand that that's a challenge. The store feels very sports / dive bar-esque, which is quite fun & seems like a great place to hang out into the wee hours of the morning.

A regular poutine with tip cost $23. It was like a bunch of pizza toppings fell into a soggy poutine. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place with all the incredible options in Montreal.
Very delicious. The staff are so friendly & helpful. They were very kind to our daughter. Just be careful what size you order! Because The portions are really generous!
