Food was delicious. Tried the flank steak & Leek Puff Pastry as well as the Crepe Suzette. Honestly was really pleased with every dish. Simple but flavourful. Would say the crepe suzette is too small of a portion, only one crepe comes with the dish.
Première expérience : plateau fruits de mer en entrée avec huîtres & couteaux excellents servis (sur les conseils d une incroyable Amélie ) avec un vin bulles méthode champenoise québécoise. . Puis un sancerre rosé léger excellent du domaine dénizot sur une bavette sur grill pour moi ( hélas trop salée) & des frites à la … quebecoise (trop cuite pour des français)? Mais ai goûté la morue sur bouillon de bouillabaisse choisi par mon mari ExCEllent !
Bref très belle première expérience & surtout bluffé par l'accueil du nouveau maître D hotel & de la très professionnelle Amélie ! Qualité de Service très rare de nos jours !
Ps: petit bémol : un des serveurs nous a apporté le plateau de fruits de mer avec cheveux longs … il était gêné par sa mèche. Ça… c est très mauvais point pour moi.
I went to Place Carmin for a solo lunch as I was in the area & I was not disappointed. The food a was amazing & the service was also top notch. At the time of this review (May, 2025) there is major construction on the street directly in front of the restaurant so please be aware of the possibility of severe traffic & the difficulty to find nearby parking. The restaurant played really relaxing jazz music during my meal which was a nice addition. Highly recommend & I will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

Beautiful restaurant with an amazing menu. One of many meals my fiancée & I had while roadtripping through Canada & the best dish during the trip was the canard a l'orange here! That being said, everything was delicious from the canapés to the oysters to the escargot on bone marrow to the veal steak & shrimp surf n turf. Our server was excellent & the bar even made me a delicious freshly brewed lemon iced tea as I don't drink. Also dessert was heavenly.
Food is original & delicious! Service is fast, friendly & impeccable! Highly recommend this restaurant that also has two closed rooms for groups such as b-day celebrations etc.
Where do I start? The food was creative, so incredibly good, high-quality, & unlike anything I've had before. The service was so polite & professional, & frankly patient with my party. I really appreciate how accommodating the staff was. The cocktail menu was excellent- a lot of cool & interesting drinks that I've never seen an iteration of on any other menu. Try the fig/raisin/yogurt drink, I forget the exact name. The space is beautifully appointed, modern, & super clean. All the trappings of a white table restaurant with none of the stuffiness. I cannot wait to return. This was the highlight of our long weekend trip. Thank you so much to the staff, see you soon!
C'était wow..... Les plats, l'ambiance, le service, tout était parfait. Cetait une première pour moi & j'y retournerais. Nous sommes restées 3h sans se sentir pressée de devoir partir comme Dans d'autres restaurants. 👌👌
Went to Place Carmin for the first time today & it was an amazing experience! Every meal was delicious, especially the beet salad & the duck à l'orange, the service was amazing & the decor was beautiful. I'd recommend to anybody!

Nous étions un groupe lors d'une conférence dans la salle dédiée à ce genre d'événement.
La serveuse & ses collègues étaient sympathiques, souriants ayant le sens d'humour.
La cuisine était délicieuse & la présentation des plats était parfaite & d'une beauté séduisante.
Après la présentation de la conférencière la gentille serveuse avait une musique douce d'ambiance & ajustant le volume de temps en temps.

Place Carmin is a gem & we would go back in a heartbeat. Fabulous service from the front of house staff, especially Fabulous Trevor who took incredibly good care of us & provided incredible menu recommendations. We had the deviled eggs, the oysters, & the arctic char for two, which was incredible. Served crispy skin side up in a bath of a hollandaise-like sauce (forget the name but think of it as a sibling to hollandaise or bearnaise), served with roasted carrots & brussels. Enjoyed a very reasonably priced & astonishingly good, crisp & minerally white (burgundy.) Finished with one of the best Paris Brest we've ever had. Incredibly talented kitchen & extremely well choreographed front of house. Thanks to the entire team & we'll be back!
FABULOUS!!! My husband & I had a lovely dining experience here on Saturday night. We had a lovely greeting as soon as we walked in, were seated towards the front of the main dining room, & was immediately greeted by our lovely waitress. She was personable, professional, & personable & really added to the wonderful experience! The restaurant has super high ceilings, a bar towards the back, outdoor dining (not open yet), & has a cool, light, airy vibe. We ordered cocktails which the bartender brought to our table, veal tartare canape, beef tartare app, the duck & sea bream, plus profiterol & crepe Suzette. Everything was superb, divinely French, beautifully plated, beautifully presented by the runners, perfectly flavored, & delicious at every bite. We are VERY happy with this neighborhood gem & look forward to going back. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
