Incredible experience! Found this place on the Michelin list & truly cannot believe they don't have star - very worthy of one. Trevor our server was phenomenal through & through, the cocktails were impeccable, & I might consider this place as my last meal - that's how good the food was.
Came here for a date night, the atmosphere was good, the restaurant feels very grand & luxurious making it the perfect place for a date. Enjoyed our meal, it's hard to find chimichurri on a menu in Canada!
Trevor was a great server & the gin martini was on point. Food was delicious. Scallop ceviche, deviled eggs, leek puff pastry, & the cod are all great. Peach crepe for dessert. The facade of the restaurant is equally as beautiful as the interior.
Seeiously, Place Carmin is something special. From the minute you walk in the door you are taken care of & the ambiance is set by the beautifully minimalist but elegant atmosphere. Despite there being several tables in the room, we felt like we were the only people there because of how amazing the service was!
Beyond service, the food was an absolute culinary delight. We kept raving about each dish & left with full bellies & full hearts. Honestly, not a bad sip or bite the entire night.

An elegant restaurant in old Montreal. Visited for brunch & all dishes we ordered were amazing. Nice atmosphere. Service can be a bit slow when crowded.
Très bonne nourriture mais le service est ordinaire. La serveuse impatiente avec un air de trop sérieux & même très sévère, sans jamais sourire. Elle ne méritais pas un pourboire de 15% ou plus. Elle devait changer de métier je crois.

Staff are polite & knowledgeable.
But the food was simply ok! a bit disappointing! Portions seemed on smaller sides given the price & the taste was ok.
Out of 5 dishes we ordered 3 were either too salty or the sauce was off on the salad! maybe they are stronger on Brunches!?
