Stopped by Pho Bac 97 before hopping on a flight from YUL airport. It was around 1pm on a Tuesday & super CROWDED! We were seated in the center of the dining room & it was quite tight. All the staff were occupied with other customers, so I had to flag one down to get our order going. I ordered an iced Viet coffee with a Pho Bo Vien, Pho Ga & Pho Dac Biet, all in medium size. The portions were pretty generous & the flavors were really good. My coffee was a great balance between coffee & milk as well. It was the right choice for an in-&-out meal!
I ordered a small bowl but it was more than enough to fill me up. They served me tea at the beginning, which was really nice & comforting. The service was friendly, & overall I had a pleasant experience. The only thing I'd mention is that the side salad seemed a bit carelessly presented, but everything else was great.
Ph? B?c restaurant is a great mainstay within Chinatown. Serving variations of Ph? & classic comfort Viet dishes in a humble laid back environment. Staff was friendly & delivered speedy service. I was in & out within less than 20 minutes. Perfect spot for a quick meal. Would visit again!
C'est ici que j'ai découvert le pho, & depuis, c'est devenu une véritable obsession ! J'en ai essayé plusieurs ailleurs, mais aucun n'arrive à la cheville de celui-ci. Sans aucun doute le meilleur pho de Montréal, rive nord & rive sud confondues.

Excellente soupe tonkinoise, vraiment. Mais comme plusieurs l'ont mentionné, il y a une forte odeur d'urine dans le restaurant, & ça rend très difficile de bien apprécier la nourriture. Sans cette odeur nauséabonde, ce serait assurément un 5 étoiles. Excellent rapport qualité-prix pour la nourriture.
C'était super bon, trop bondé & les tables trop près les unes des autres. Pour dîner vers 13h15 c'était bien sinon à midi ca fait la file. Service très bien à la caisse & pour recevoir notre commande. C'est style cafétéria. Je recommande ce resto.
I grew up going to an incredible authentic Vietnamese place called Pho Barclay, when I was 15 they closed shop & moved away. For almost 6 year I have been looking for a bowl of Pho which compares to their level of excellence. Pho Bac has done it, what an outstanding bowl of pho accompanied by such a lively & familiar feeling atmosphere of tight seating & rich smells coming from the kitchen. If I had one night in Montréal City, this is where I would have dinner 100 out of 100 times over.
La nourriture est délicieuse. MAIS ça PUE TELLEMENT dans le restaurant. Comme le commentaire précédent, il y a odeur de pipi. C'est désagréable. Je ne vais plus manger à cet endroit malheureusement, tant que le problème avec l'odeur n'est pas résolu.
