I went inside before they were stamping people & was still there later in the evening. I went outside to make a phone call, & when I went to go back in the bouncer didn't believe me & said no more guys are getting in, only women. I explained I was already in, & was there with a group of 1 other guy & 9 women. He didn't believe me, & got in my face, telling me I was standing too close to the bar, when I was on the street, about 10 feet away from the door. So me & all my friends left. I like the bar, but the bouncers are really aggressive, & also shoved my friend on the other side of the street a week ago. Until the get these bouncers in check I'm not going back

I enjoyed the crowd at Philemon, but you have to deal with aggressive bouncers assaulting you & accosting you despite being across the street on a public sidewalk in front of the hotel you're staying at. @Philemon, you gotta set these guys straight, man.

I had an amazing time coming here with my friend. We were served at our table by Melina. She said she was relatively new but she did a great job. Very attentive & even recommended some fun drinks. We will definitely be coming back!

I sat at the bar for approximately 30 minutes while three staff members repeatedly walked past without acknowledging me. A white couple arrived afterward & was served immediately. I then moved to the seated area, where staff served the couple directly beside me while continuing not to acknowledge me. I cannot know anyone's intent, but the stark difference in treatment felt discriminatory & made me feel deliberately invisible. I left without ever being offered service.

Stephanie ocean & alexi are the best! We had such a great time at this bar come here to hang out with them! Because they are genuinely fun people to hang out with people

The bouncer was aggressive with my friend for waiting for me to use the bathroom & told him that if he was in Africa he'd be able to beat him up, very unprofessional I told him it wasn't that deep & he threatened my life for using the bathroom it made no sense while we were waiting for an ube

The bouncer was letting a bunch of people get in, & when it was our group's turn to get in ( waited in life for 25min), he told us we cut & that we were too much to get in. Ruined my sister's 21st party, would rather pay cover at another place than deal with such a disrespectful person like this. 18th at 1am.
