With over ten years of experience, Chef Somboun Norindr offers traditional Thai cuisine without American adaptation. Dishes seasoned with coriander, ginger, curry or lemongrass and soups with coconut milk. There are also classics such as Pad Thai, Thai rolls and desserts. The first restaurant using peanut sauce in Montreal in 1986!

Authentic reliable Thai cuisine, keeping the quality high ever since 2008 when they started on Laurier Street in Outremint. Worth the trip from Montreal. The Tom Yam Kung shrimp soup ( or Tom Kha Talay - the coconut milk version), Larb Ped duck salad, Pad Thai noodles, eggplant with basil, chicken with eggplant in curry, basil beef - are all favourites. They used to make sticky rice & a mango, rice & coconut dessert - wish they'd bring it back!
Service très lent au début. Nourriture moins bonne que d'habitude. Le pad thaï goûtait trop le vinaigre & la sauce aux arachides n'avait pas la consistance habituelle.

Phayathai has become one of our family's favorite neighborhood restaurant offering the best Thai food. Service is always friendly & food is consistently delicious!
If you expect real taste of Thai food I recommend here , the owner they are very friendly & good service , I love this restaurant , make me feel like I eat at home , good food & good price👍
Only one server for the entire restaurant, so the service was a little bit longer then expected.
I was also surprised that they charged us 2$ extra for the little bowl of rice.
I've been to other THAI restaurant in the area (ex: BATO THAI) & they never charged us for the rice :(
The food was good, but I've had better...

Petit resto Thai à Blainville. De loin le meilleur de la région. Menu très varié avec un apportez votre vin. Prix plus que juste. Restaurant familiale sympathique.
Toujours excellent!! C'est super bon 😋 resto familiale & le chef est très à l'écoute des clients, il vient nous voir aux tables pour s'assurer qu'on est satisfait 🩷 Vraiment je le recommande à tous ceux qui aime la vraie bouffe Thai... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

C'est à conseillé pour ceux qui aiment les mets Thai à prix raisonnables.
Un restaurant thaïlandais vraiment à découvrir, le meilleur que j'aie fréquenté dans le grand Montréal (& même en Thaïlande). Les plats sont succulents, très goûteux (explosion de saveurs différentes pour le palais!), préparés avec soin, le service est impeccable. On peut également commander pour aller chercher. Je recommande fortement!
Restaurant thaïlandais authentique que nous adorons à chaque visite depuis plus de quinze ans. La qualité de la préparation est remarquable. Toujours satisfait. Service conviviale & souriant.
