Fantastic experience at Phayathai! The owner was there, which made everything feel warm & personal - you can really tell how much care goes into the restaurant.
The food was excellent across the board: fresh dumplings with rich peanut sauce, a vibrant mango salad, perfectly cooked Pad Thai with shrimp, & flavorful stir-fried dishes (beef with broccoli, garlic pork, crispy seafood noodles). Everything was well-seasoned, fresh, & beautifully presented.
Great service, generous portions, & authentic flavours. We'll definitely be back!
J'ai commandé pour la première fois au Phayathai & je n'ai pas été déçu. J'ai commandé le boeuf au Cari Paneang (Kiao Vaen Nua) avec un riz & c'était vraiment très bon. La sauce était onctueuse & très goûteuse. Le boeuf était très bon. Ma conjointe a commandé les légumes au cari vert à la thaïlandaise (Kiao Vaen Phak) avec un riz & a aussi beaucoup aimé son plat. Tout était très bien emballé & tout est arrivé encore chaud. La prochaine fois, nous allons venir en personne essayer le restaurant. Edit : J'y suis allé en personne 3-4 fois & j'ai adoré mon expérience. C'est devenu mon restaurant préféré sur la Rive-Nord de Montréal.

I'm a Phayathai veteran from late 80s to late 2010's when they were on Guy. Stopped going when owner went back to Thailand & closed for a few years but returned to reopen on Guy again. When during COVID the Guy street Phayathai sold & became Prathet Thai was a very sad day but now having found the original moved to Blainville, the universe has been restored. Great food, & now that it is in Blainville, prices remain reasonable despite the COVID craze.

Hier, le 6 novmbre 21, nous avions invité un couple d'amis; c'est la deuxième fois que nous faisons cela. Tous ont grandement apprécié la qualité, le goût & les coûts des différents plats commandés. Nous recommendons sans restriction le restaurant Phayathai pour son grand choix, la qualité de sa nourriture & son atmosphère chaleureuse. Nous adorons.
Nous avons passé une très belle soirée, mardi dernier, au resto Phayathai. La dernière fois que nous avions rencontré le chef Sam Boun, c'est il y a au moins cinq ans passés, sur la rue Laurier à Montréal, ancienne adresse du resto Phayathai. Nous n'avons même pas eu besoin de demander en entrant si c'était le MÊME resto: juste voir le monsieur souriant qui nous accueille: oui on vous reconnaît bien, chef!
Dans une très belle décoration du local & musique tranquille, Sam Boun nous a offert un plateau de dégustation adapté aux goûts des convives pour le «nombre de piments». Ne manquez pas leur fameuse salade de mangue! Puis nous avons choisi un plat par convive à partager ensemble selon la tradition thaïlandaise; nous avons inclus les délicieuses aubergines au basilic; aussi le poulet Saté avec sauce arachides. Arrosé des vins apportés soi-même. Plein de temps pour jaser calmement. Nous avons fini le repas avec un très bon petit dessert: tapioca orangé avec lait de coco.
Facile à trouver à Blainville: boulevard Labelle juste au sud du boulevard de la Seigneurie.

Courez vite chez Phayathai c'est super bon.Le restaurant n'est ouvert que depuis 4 mois & demi, mais ils ont déjà une clientèle régulière.Si vous y aller un jour de semaine le patron-cuisinier aura peut-être le temps de venir vous parler de son pays d,origine ,comme il l'a fait avec nous. Ah oui le coupon Groupon donne droit à a peu près n'importe quoi sur le menu,alors vous pouvez vraiment choisir ce que vous voulez.
