About

The menu features a variety of classic items such as savory bibimbap, crispy fried chicken, and hearty stews designed for authentic culinary expression. Diners find a selection of fermented side dishes that accompany main courses to provide a balanced profile of textures and tastes. The kitchen maintains consistent techniques to honor regional profiles while ensuring every plate meets high standards of preparation. Simple seating arrangements facilitate a focus on the food itself rather than ornate surroundings. This establishment prioritizes the essence of Korean home-style cooking for those seeking a direct encounter with recognizable, robust flavors and carefully sourced components served without unnecessary embellishments or distraction.

Oh hell yeah. You know those Saturdays where you just run out for an errand & then it ends up being a smooth, unhurried, peaceful day with someone you love? Well, this sizzling bowl of noodles & chicken washed down with a frosty beer on a frigid December day was the perfect respite. Plus we got to hear every word of a successful first date in the booth beside us, which was awesome. Then walking along Monkland & popping into different stores, picking up this & that with a bellyful of wonderful food, jumping in the car & going home & unpacking & watching some good tv, it just doesn't get better than that.

Average bibimbap, not traditional style, no complimentary banchan, & miso soup tasted like it was made from a packet pre-made mix. Service was good, food was timely, but soju cost 27 cad, which was a major surprise & honestly outrageous because soju is such a cheap alcohol. it's not like i got hwayo, left a very bad taste in my mouth. & after I even still tipped well & paid without a big fuss, the chef didn't even say thank you after I said thank you & that the food was good. Overall not a place you'd go back to often, & not memorable enough to go to once in a blue moon. Skip.
