Went there with 3 friends, we sat down, waitress asks'coffee's for everyone?'
We says yes, coffee comes, first thing happens, VERY MINOR compare to the others, we don't get offered water, every other table has water. Our order comes rather quickly, we don't get our bread yet'10 minutes' after receiving our order, I go to the kitchen counter & ask'are we receiving our bread soon?' A gentleman in his late 40s, early 50s answers me' relax bro, it's right here' the basket of our bread was under the heat lamp. We were only asked once we finished our meal if we wanted more coffee. At this time my cup was already empty for 25 minutes. Then to top it all off I see a server behind the counter passing a bag for Doordash to a waitress on the other side, & it goes right through her hands & falls upside down to the floor, & her & our waitress are dying of laughter. The 1 man & 2 women mentioned here are in their late 40s early 50s & they acted very immaturely. I even caught some of the younger servers passing by our servers & rolling their eyes in embarrassment.
I've been to 3 different Petino's, this is the ONLY one that I've ever witnessed all this horrible customer service.

This Petinos location impressed me with the kind of small details that quietly elevate the whole experience.

Service was fast, attentive, & efficient-& they're bilingual, which is always a plus. The fruit was fresh & washed (a small but appreciated touch). They offer a generous variety of spreads, syrups, & condiments at the table, which made customizing the meal easy & enjoyable.

My grilled chicken omelette was lightly seasoned-perfect for adjusting to taste-while the potatoes were flavourful & well-seasoned. Overall, the food here is excellent-frankly, better than nearby competitors.

Prices are fair, & the atmosphere is a nice blend of mid-century modern decor with classic Quebec brunch vibes. Big-screen TVs, bottomless coffee, & kids' artwork on display at the entrance make it feel both modern & homey.

Wishing this location much success. I'll definitely be back.

The owner greeted & seated us. Her name is Maria & she's a lovely person. The coffee is fantastic & so is the food. Maria made me want to hug her.

Been there 3 times & it always so friendly, great service, warm & welcoming! Food is great 👍 well cooked & delicious 😋
Very accomadating (I am in a wheelchair) & always accomadated with grace & ease even at their busiest full times, always find me a comfortable seating area, coffee is refilled & never an empty cup
Highly recommend 👌

Today my husband & I had brunch & chose Petinos Mtl north location . Was extraordinary to be pleasantly received by Mary who let us pick where we wanted to sit . Mary is an amazing & pleasant hostess whose main goal is to please . After a little conversation about Greece she introduced us to Nico our waiter . Within a few minutes we were drinking our coffee & ordering our food . To our surprise both Mary & Nico constantly asking if everything was to our liking . Within less than 15 minutes our food was served. What a pleasure , our dishes were delicious & very abundant .
Can't say enough on this beautiful experience .
We promised to return every other week for sure .
Thank you Mary & Nico for impressing my husband & wowing me again 🤩🤩🤩
