Review Summary

Perogie Lili comes across as a cozy, welcoming neighborhood gem offering homemade Ukrainian fare that feels comforting and authentic. The space is small and colorful with floral murals, creating a homey atmosphere, and the service is consistently friendly and attentive. The menu features a wide range of pierogies, many vegetarian options, and hearty borscht, with fillings like potato and cheddar, caramelized onions, sour cream, cherry, cabbage, and wild mushrooms with bacon. Dishes are described as fresh to order, soft and flavorful, with dough that melts in the mouth. There is a sense of care in the experience, with good value, generous portions, and the option to dine in or take away, plus samples and helpful guidance from staff. A portion of proceeds supporting humanitarian relief in Ukraine adds meaning to the visit. Overall, it feels like a place to return to explore more flavors and to feel at home.

The new addition to the menu is a totally & absolutely awesome Borsch! An excellent compliment to the equally great perogies...you will not be disappointed eating in this new venue in cool Mile End!

Delicious perogies made by super friendly staff in a charming little place with beautiful art on the walls. I love boutique places like this that focus on one or two things & do them really well. Tried the cherry perogies as well & wow! Perfect place for a snack if you're in the neighbourhood, or to go out of your way for. Thanks Lili!

The best vareniki (pierogi) ever! Even better than some places in Ukraine. Highly recommend this warm place to anyone who loves vareniki with different flavors. You can try both savory & sweet ones here. The girls are very friendly & nice. When you step into this cafe you immediately feel as if you've arrived at your grandma's house & she is cooking this gorgeous dish for you. Thank you! ❤?🇺🇦
