I discovered this hidden gem in the neighborhood. I went there for just a normal takeout but left the place with such a great sense of affection towards this local business.

The owners, Safy & Aseem are so welcoming & humble towards their customers. Safy is such a powerful personality with her smile, gestures & love for Syrian culture.

I went there for the first time today, & they made me try their Babaganoush, Muhammara, Za'atar, & Falafel as soon as they found me confused on what I should order.

I got a falafel platter, Manakish, Muhammara plate & Babaganoush. Their prices are extremely affordable compared to any other places I've eaten in Montreal. The whole order was enough for 4 people, just for 40$.

I was even more surprised when they brought the billing machine without the tip option, & they honestly said No Tip as I was taking out. I felt extremely respectful towards this gesture from their son.

I definitely recommend this place, & really wish they get more & more business.

I'll be very honest we came here mainly because there were not many other places nearby, but I was pleasantly surprised by how really, really good the food was!

We had the pizza & arancini, & the Italian tomato sauce was excellent perfectly salty, tangy, & wonderfully tomatoey. 🍅

The place is run by an elderly couple, uncle is from Italy & aunty is originally from Syria, so you can also get some excellent falafel & Middle Eastern dishes here.

If you're anywhere near Monk, this place is definitely a must-try!

On a late Friday evening, we had the usual'-but where do YOU want to eat?' conversation while browsing Uber Eats.
As an indecisive person, my partner picked Safy Falafel & we fell in love with not only the portion size & great authentic dishes- we were introduced to new cuisine not familiar to this area, around the corner from home. Excited to make this a new comfort spot!

The food is amazing, the family running it is lovely, every single one of them. They will give you the warmest welcome as you step in & will serve you autenthic Italian & Lebanese food that is cooked with love & is very affordable. Been there a hundred times & looking forward for another thousand times.

Great spot for both Italian & Middle Eastern food. The pizzas were really good, & the manakeesh were excellent! They also serve classics like ful, hummus, & fatteh, which are worth trying. The place is also kid friendly, the owners are genuinely very nice, & the service was warm. I'd definitely go back.
