Super cozy vibe & the jamaicano is a must try for coffee lovers, something they do that took away the bitterness. Perfect little spot in town to relax, chat, or just enjoy great coffee. Definitely coming back to drink a coffee or just chill.
Love love love the space! & that jerk grilled cheese omg don't even get me started!!!!
The chocolate cookie is a must for sure, & the Jamaican patties are really good. It was worth the wait for sure because we arrived early. The latte is ok nothing wow but the americano taste really good.
Absolute gem in that neighbor hood. Food is exceptional, coffees are outstanding.
Must visit!
It would have been a 5 star if the service wasn't so unwelcoming & rude. They serve you as if they are making you a favour. If you wanna create an alternative & creative space, start with your attitude first.
The initial feeling when walking into the cafe gives a very positive vibe & a hint that this place might be something special.
As other reviewers mentioned, based on their prices, the size of their portions is insufficient. For example, I paid $12 for an average tasting egg sandwich which contained scrambled eggs, 1 slice of tomato, 1 leaf of lettuce & 1 bun. What's more, the sandwich was the size of a small child sandwich or a slider. Another nuisance is all the napkins, utensils & cup covers are placed out of reach of the customer. You have to remember to ask for these items. I don't think this is a coincidence. Instead, I think it's part of their deliberate effort in cost containment.
The decor is nice. However, the short sightedness in cost cutting will prevent me from returning.
