Parma Café is described as a casual Italian cafe with a broad menu of food and desserts, where fresh bread and generous paninis such as steak capicollo and porchetta, along with classics like tiramisu and cannoli, stand out for authentic flavors. Across reviews, the vibe is cozy and welcoming, the atmosphere lively, and the staff friendly and helpful, though a few notes point to occasional counter delays or a busy, noisy space. The sandwiches and deli items consistently come up as the top picks, with many praising the mortadella panini, the balance of fillings, and the crisp bread, while some diners mention value as a plus and others caution that take-out or lunchtime crowds can affect experience. Desserts and pasta are also highlighted for quality, with coffee praised by many and at least one miss on an iced latte. Overall, Parma Café is viewed as a reliable choice for flavorful, substantial meals and casual dining, offering good value and a memorable sandwich experience, while acknowledging that peak times can feel crowded and service can vary.
A'must-do' every time I'm visiting Montreal, & a go-to recommendation for friends in town. The Steak Sandwich is one of the BEST I've ever had. Fantastic service. Great value! I'll be back!
Fantastic chicken sandwich. First off I'm a big eater & it's more than satisfying. You can taste the quality of ingredients, it's the first time in a long time that I'm actually impressed with a sandwich. Good jo

I just recieved my UberEats Delivery from ParmaCafe Bishop loction 15 min ago & I had to stop in the middle of my dinner to write this review. I want to say that this is the best spot in Montreal for italian food. Their sandwiches are the best I've ever had & their salads as well! Everything is top top perfection! God Bless you continue doing a wonderful job!! I have ordered from you guys maybe 20 plus times & it's always been perfect & I will continue ordering from you guys in the future!!
This little place was great. Super friendly staff (awesome shirts), way better than I was expecting food, & very fast. The made-to-order cannoli were exceptionally good, too. I was slightly surprised that the Bolognese didn't have cream in it, but it was great anyway.
Elie found this café & suggested that we go & discover it together. To set up is a little bit weird, you order from the main cash. They place your order you find a seat & they serve it to you. There's nothing weird about it. It's just confusing when you get in because they don't necessarily explain it to you. we've seen other places give a kind of number that you place on your table to identify one to the person that they know what to expect & two for the server to bring the food to the right table. We ordered a couple of sandwiches & a Caprese salad we decided to go with the large size which in all honesty was a little bit too big . There was cheese & tomatoes, which is great, however, way too much balsamic & not enough basil. For people who have travelled around & have eaten various types of Caprese salads (not that we're being snobby) but this was not one of the better ones sadly. The sandwich was OK, the bread was really good. However, we didn't really care much for the chopped up lettuce inside & the lack of certain toppings like bacon for instance . There were just a few strips, barely enough to cover the bread area. The fries, however, came in the gigantic basket which we were unable to finish. It was OK to visit. The decor inside is nice. a nice place to visit if you're looking for a quick breakfast in a downtown area of Montreal.
Arrived around opening hour & staff already seemed incredibly busy fulfilling online orders. Unfortunately, I waited over 5 minutes to get my order taken (there was no line) & over 20 minutes to get my panini. Atmosphere felt chaotic with some of the staff members yelling at each other. I originally planned on doing some work at the cafe but the environment did not feel welcoming. Otherwise, the panini was tasty & the portion size was generous. Perhaps I dropped in at the wrong time!

The Salmon sandwich is ART!! The prochutto one is pretty good too, but salmon is best! The coffee was average, I ordered a latte & it was definitely not a latte, more like a cappuccino. The stuff members could use a little training on the coffee making from European bartenders. The decor is great, however there is no much space to seat & it gets crowded & noisy very easily. Otherwise a good spot to seat, chat & have a sandwich!
The steak panini is delicious! I highly recommend trying it, the bread is crispy, the meat is tender, it's flavourful & easy to bite down. All around fantastic sandwich. On the other hand, it should be illegal to charge 5.75$ for a 14oz latte made with an automatic espresso machine. The price of latte is justified by the craft, care & intention put into the cup. This coffee was not it at all.
