It's a lovely place. Their vegan menu is really special. Food was on point, tea selection was great & the atmosphere although a little touch loud, was really nicely decorated. It is more of a fun high tea rather than a stately & calm one it seems.

Juste wow . L'endroit est super beau, la décoration époustouflante & que dire du service !!!!! On se fait vraiment traiter aux petits oignons par le personnel & les bouchées étaient succulentes. Nous avons adoré l'expérience & le menu enfant est vraiment adapté à leur palais !!!! Un mega coup de coeur nous allons y retourner c'est sûre.
We did a lot of research on tea shops & houses before visiting Montreal & this place never came up. We found it completely by accident but it was one of the best things we did on our trip! The tea & food was some of the best we've ever had! The nutcracker tea was the clear winner! We did not make a reservation but came right when they opened & we're told they could give us a table for an hour & a half. That was plenty of time to enjoy our tea & meal. Part of our party was vegetarian & had no trouble. Would highly recommend!
Au-delà de la décoration soignée, mêlant inspiration des maisons de thé classiques & modernisme, qui nous charme dès l'arrivée, ce qui m'a séduite est le service à la clientèle de haute qualité. Personnel courtois, attentif, souriant, disponible, rapide & très efficace. Paparmane est toujours bondé & on comprend pourquoi! L'endroit est impeccable à tout niveaux.
4.5* We have made the reservation to celebrate our friend's birthday & I also checked in with the hostess when I arrived. A description of the birthday boy was shared with the hostess & when I requested for a little candle, she later reassured me that her colleageus will prepare something for the birthday boy. Unfortunately, nothing was done though the service is nice & prompt in general. I personally did not like all the food but it's a personal preference, the rest of my friends generally enjoyed their hi-tea. Just wished our birthday boy had at least a little candle to celebrate his special day. I guess they forgot to pass the message along.
On a adoré !! Déjà hâte à leur prochain menu afin d y retourner. Super facile d accommoder les plats pour certaines allergies (produits laitiers, dans mon cas). Service excellent. Franchement, on y a passé près de 3 heures, moi qui habituellement s impatiente après 1:15 assise à une table de resto. Les autres clients avaient l air aussi emballés que nous. Ouais, j ai hâte d y retourner :)

Ceci n'est pas un service de thé à l'anglaise. Ceci dit, certaines bouchées étaient très bonnes. Le thé très moyen, on n'en connaît pas non plus la provenance. Le service aux tables est courtois. Pour ce qui est de l'accueil à l'entrée, nous avions réservé à 17h & le restaurant ferme à 19h & on nous a dit que notre place était occupée par des gens qui ne voulaient pas quitter & qu'il fallait attendre. Quel manque total de professionnalisme. Pénaliser les gens alors que nous avions réservé & que ce n'est pas donné ce service de thé. Après argumentation, on a fini par nous asseoir 20 minutes en retard. Ce n'est pas là non plus la courtoisie so british. Bref, un endroit pour instagrammeurs & touristes.
Le thé est exceptionnellement bon. Dans le salé, je trouve que certaines bouchées sont à souligner comme le Saumon & la viande, le reste est bon. Pour le sucré, les scones sont les meilleurs.
This was a treat for my daughter's birthday. Overall, it's a nice place for a special occasion. The interior is beautiful! The service in general was good except of the fact that we had to wait to be seated for more than 15mins. I made a reservation a week in advance for 3pm, we came in exactly on time. There were people who came in after us & who were seated right away, but it was almost 15mins before we got any attention from one of the staff, & then we had to wait for another 5 mins to be seated. I can't say the food was amazing like many comments suggest here. The flavours were good but I feel some of the canapés, offered, should be served warm ( latkes with pulled beef & sandwich with cheese & fennel), the scones were also too hard. As to atmosphere, I agree with my daughter, some quiet music would be nice.
