Review Summary

Oze Bagel Plus Inc. is widely praised for offering exceptional, fresh, and delicious wood-fired bagels that many consider the best on the South Shore, frequently drawing comparisons to famous Montreal institutions. While the product quality earns high marks, customers often express frustration regarding inconsistent operating hours and concerns about cleanliness in the establishment. Opinions on value are mixed, as some patrons feel the recent price increases affect the overall appeal, and while the staff is often described as friendly, the physical environment and occasional administrative errors regarding store hours have led to some negative experiences.

$12/12 & the sesame ones are the freshest

*2024 edit: I think at triple the pre-pandemic prices the value is not there & I have since stopped going.* Ok, so I saw the reviews saying that this place is as good as St Viateur bagels. In a world where people think that Tim Hortons have good bagles, I'm pretty skeptical of people's opinions. I tried the sesame seed bagels last week (fresh out of the oven) & the poppy seed today (made earlier in the day). While they aren't as good as St Viateur bagles, they come really close, & they're a lot more convenient than driving to the Plateau. 5$ for a dozen is very reasonable.
Aussi, j'ai vu la critique que le service n'est qu'en anglais, mais je peux vous confirmer que ce n'est pas le cas. J'ai placé ma commande en anglais les 2 fois.

I love this place, but not going to lie, I saw a cockroach in the entryway. Bagels are heaven but the floors are definitely not washed daily. A little disappointed today, it's says it closes at 6 so we went at 5:45 pm & the sign was blinking open… it was in fact NOT open :(( now I'm bageless & sad. They should change the hours on google & on their open sign as well. Love the staff tho, they used to give me a fresh bagel when I was younger & it was like walking on a cloud. 3 stars because of the floors & hour mix up.

We got freshly baked sesame bagel, still hot 🔥
Cant go wrong with that!
The day before we tried also Brossard Bagel to settle who's best in town, by a narrow margin i give it to Oze! I like their slightly sweeter taste. & its not simple sugar sweet, taste deeper, honey? Molasses? Its something, subtle. They aren't sweet bagels, just a hint. Stop by & get them fresh!
