Not recommended at all! The coffee & the meal were awful, the service was not great & the place doesn't look clean. & the worst thing was that a weird guy was taking photos of us with his phone with no permission! I'd rate it as a low level coffee place!
It's a pretty cool café with a chill vibe. I needed to do some urgent homework so I just grabbed my laptop & headphones & headed over here for some quiet peace & focus time & that's exactly what I got. I ordered a simple coffee & the service was great. Not too much disturbance. So I appreciate that.
We had not visited this restaurant for a long time so it was time a return! The interior is quite dark but there is plenty of seating, mainly on banquets. Service was prompt & efficient, with an extensive menu. The coffee was ok but serving latte in a glass cup seems to be a trend which I find strange. Anyway, the shakshuka was really good & spicy, while my wife had the traditional cooked breakfast. The sausages were excellent apparently! Overall we enjoyed the experience so we'll be back.

Orange is possibly the best value for breakfast, brunch & lunch in the city (I've never been for dinner). The prices are reasonable, or as reasonable as possible these days, the food is delicious & the potions are extremely generous. For example, HUGE omelettes come with fruit, potato, bread & coffee... it's a significant amount of food for an average price of $18.95. You walk out feeling satisfied & not cheated, like at many other places these days.
Service is great, very friendly staff & always happy to accommodate the customers. It's very conveniently located with parking all around. It's worth going!
This is a very good place to eat. Friendly staff, good food & coffee. Not crazy expensive but as all others restaurants now, the tip starts at 18%. Not just this restaurants problem.
I went many years without eating here because the quality had degraded, I came back last year & it was totally different for the better. But my experience today has me completely turned off once again. Quality of the food has gone down, particularly the breakfast potatoes. Creton was inedible. Service also left much to be desired. A table of 4 received one coffee refill & zero water refills during the hour plus we were there. When we went to pay the bill, we received no thanks or a goodbye as we were leaving the restaurant.
You would be best served eating elsewhere for breakfast.
Today I went to the Orange Cafe On Decarie with my two friends. It happened to be the Day of Trump's inauguration. The waitress had us right underneath the TV screen. We all ordered breakfast dishes. I had the Mexican omelet my friend had the waffles, & my other friend had avacado toast. My omelet was delicious. It included a soup. Both my friends enjoyed their food as well. The dishes included unlimited coffee. This was my fourth time at this restaurant. The waitress was friendly & the service was good. It has a nice ambience. It's a well known establishment on the west side. The portions are generous as well. I would recommend this place.
This was my second visit to Orange Cafe. The first time was on a weekend & the place was buzzing & the breakfast was solid. This morning was far from the first experience. Our breakfast arrived barely warm with the exception of the potatoes. The butter was still on the cold toast. Unfortunately, the waitress barely passed by considering it was not very busy for a Monday at 10am. So we did not get a chance to inform her of the situation. She came to fill up our coffee by the time we were more than halfway done eating. What a disappointment!
The portions were ridiculously small. Extremely thin sliced beef salami, beans were in the smallest little tin (a little bigger than a ketchup cup) & only 2 fruits. Lastly, Flavourless undercooked potatoes & a terrible coffee wouldn't return
We were so happy with our meals! The portion sizes are generous, & the people working here are very friendly! They also came by several times to fill up our coffee! We can't wait to go back & explore more items on their menu!
