Where to start…
I was happy to see this open not too far from me, boy was I disappointed.
-First off the menu has an option to get two classic rolls with a soup but when you choose your 2 classics, they charge you extra fees without telling you, which is very bizarre & actually illegal.
-2nd the miso soup was cold & tasted like vinegar (very old). Also the wooden spoons smell like wet dog.
-3 when I told the worker about the bad soup he awkwardly giggled & did not know what to do. I don't blame him. It seems like the owner hired two random 18-year-olds to run the place.
Place Did not seem sanitary at all
Loud music annoyingly playing off a cell phone

Overall a cheap, unpleasant experience.

*The salmon sushi hand roll was pretty good.
*No wasabi or ginger available !?

I can't say its the worst onigiri, but it's also not the best. Bland & lacking flavor. I got the raw salmon one. Compared to other onigiris, it's mid quality. It was also falling apart like crazy. Too much rice & didn't close. If you want a quick meal, it's good but nothing special.

J'ai visité Onigiri Shop à L'Île-Perrot pour aller chercher des onigiris & je suis totalement conquis ! Les onigiris étaient absolument délicieux, frais, savoureux & parfaitement préparés.
En plus de la qualité de la nourriture, le service a été extremement rapide & chaleureux. Une excellente adresse pour un lunch rapide ou pour emporter.

J'y retournerai sans hésiter !

Ordered through Doordash with a BOGO promotion, maybe it's the reason it was so disappointing.
First time I ordered to make a change with sushi & poke, but it will be my last one.
I paid too much to get a lot of rice with 2 small portions of included ingredients (tuna & avocado) & no seasoning.

The service was impeccable both times we went. The onigiri are amazing & the price is right! The miso soup is also super good.

Ordered the combo with two rice ball with two entrees, it was delicious! I ordered the spicy tuna & avocado 🥑 rice balls, both are big & generous. The entree is interesting, with options from miso soup, salad, mini ramen & even cheese cake. Ordered the salad & they charged an extra fee of $2 that I only aware after getting the receipt. The mini ramen was cute, a small bowl, but came with half egg & pork! Very good experience & would come again

Updated review (under new ownership). I went into the shop & the owner & his employee were very friendly. The shop is clean & the food was fresh & tasty!

Uber delivery took almost 1.5 hours (this is supposed to be FAST food). Salad came with some brown lettuce & no dressing. Onigiris were poorly wrapped & did not have much flavour. Very disappointed.

Honestly it make 3 times i have been there & the service & food is always impeccable. Smiling & passionate people.

The portion are generous & always taste fresh.

I higly recommend to any sushi/onigiri fan. You wont regret it!!!

The food was fresh & prepared quickly. Unfortunately, the onigiri were really not well prepared & were very hard to eat. Too much rice to filling ratio & all 4 fell apart. Also there was an error in our order - was given 3 salmons (we ordered 2) & didn't get my shrimp & crab. Not sure I would recommend.

The cashier refused to speak to me in English but the onigiri was amazing!
