About

Olu 'Olu Poke delivers a refined selection of Hawaiian inspired bowls centered on high quality raw fish and fresh produce. The menu emphasizes a fusion approach where traditional marinated tuna and salmon meet modern toppings like crisp edamame, pickled ginger, and creamy avocado. Diners encounter a minimalist environment designed for efficient service, focusing entirely on the structural integrity of every customized bowl. Each preparation highlights the balance of textures, combining tender proteins with crunchy vegetables and seasoned grains. The establishment relies on consistent ingredient sourcing to maintain the integrity of its Pacific culinary influence. By prioritizing bold seasoning profiles and precise assembly, the kitchen produces balanced meals that adhere to established poke bowl standards. This focused methodology ensures a reliable outcome for those seeking nutritious and vibrant ingredients prepared with careful attention to detail.

Review Summary

Olu 'Olu Poke is generally praised for its fresh, high-quality ingredients and unique flavor combinations, with the spicy rainbow bowl being a notable favorite among patrons. Many customers highlight the friendly and accommodating service, particularly regarding allergy requests, and appreciate the availability of a loyalty program. While the vast majority of feedback is positive and emphasizes the authentic Hawaiian style, some visitors have expressed concerns regarding inconsistent quality, specific ingredient choices, or the balance of toppings to rice. Despite occasional negative experiences with spice levels or service demeanor, the management often proactively addresses concerns to ensure customer satisfaction, making it a popular destination for a quick, healthy meal.

Food: quality has gone down, wondering if it has a new owner. How can you use black pepper instead of spicy mayo?
Service: the lady at the counter is very pushy & not bilingual.
Atmosphere: it's a grab & go place

Les poké sont bon mais manque atrocement de topping en comparaison du riz. Le prix est élevé pour ce que c'est.

This is the third time we order from this place & poke was always good. However the last time we ordered a rainbow poke which we are used to order came absolutely spicy beyond belief to the point we had to throw it away. I'm really disappointed to spend over 50$ in food & it ends up in the garbage.
Update: I was contacted by the restaurant & was offered 2 bowls of my choice free of charge & the quality of the food was perfect.
I appreciate the excellent customer service!

The fish was just cubed up tuna, no seasoning or marinade at all (instead it was on the rice) which made the meal bland. Poke is a fish recipe, not the dish as a whole. $20 for 90% rice & ~10 pieces of plain cubed tuna was pretty disappointing.
