Deuxième expérience hier le 6 décembre 2024. Toujours goût exquis pour les sushi. Service impeccable. Excellent sushi bar.

Whenever we want Sushi, it's Niji. We drive from the Eastern Townships just for the experience. Our server Danny, is attentive, & professional. Answers all the questions we have & treats us like vip's. I highly recommend this restaurant for its food, service & vibe. Make sure you reserve because Niji books up fast, & also ask to be seated at Danny's table. Enjoy!
Niji is always are sushi go to. We drive from the Eastern Townships to experience the food, the ambiance, the music & the beautiful decor. The service is excellent. Danny our server was personable & efficient, he came to see us several times to ask if we had any questions. Our food arrived quickly, plating was gorgeous & delicious. We ordered more after because the sushi was so good. We suggest the dragon eye, it's crispy, hot & so tasty. We have never had a bad dish or bad service. We highly recommend you experience Niji for yourself. Make sure you reserve early, the reservations fill up quickly.
Sushi shop has better sushi, freshness comparable to average ayce restaurants. The AAA beef was overcooked & hard to swallow. Cakes are Costco quality for a small portion. Takes around 45 min for food to arrive. Decent decor & ambiance could not cover up for the poor food quality, overpriced in general. Only highlight was good service, not impressed but respectful workers. Would give 3 stars for food if it was half priced. May be affiliated to La Nuit Shanghai, but preferred the latter's food. Will have a harder time to survive if located in downtown Montreal. First & last time dining here. Edit to reply: "Sorry your experience was not to your liking. We would have loved to have known while you were with us to address the situation." We were not ready to wait another 45 min to address the issue. Please be prepared to do things right the first time when brand positioning & pricing are ambitious.
