I had the 12-piece nigiri set & the vegetable tempura for $75.
For a premium nigiri set, it was a bit disappointing to see the same ingredients appear twice. I believe that avoiding duplicate ingredients is one of the basics of a high-end sushi course. That said, I appreciated that the chef prepared the repeated ingredients in different ways, which created distinct flavors & made the experience more interesting.
The vegetable tempura was also somewhat underwhelming. As a standalone dish, I expected a wider variety of vegetables.

Nous avons choisis l'expérience du chef & nous en avons été déçu. Le délais entre les différents services ma semblé assez long. Si jamais je retourne je chosirai plutot les choix à la carte.

We were a group of 12 for a birthday. We took the special chef deal for 75$/each where we dont choose much & they just bring stuff to share. It was amazingly good & the waiters were super polite. The only downside was that the number of slices or peices of each platter did not match the number of people, we had to cut some in half in order to taste everything, which tarnished a bit the experience for everyone.

Une très belle soirée au Niji pour notre 28e anniversaire de mariage. Notre serveur Dan nous a pris en main en nous suggérant un menu spécialement concocté pour l'occasion par le chef. Chaque bouchée valait ce moment d'arrêt pour savourer les ingrédients tout autant savoureux que frais. Le prix est vite oublié par la qualité du service & des aliments.

Quelle belle expérience! Nous avions spécifiquement demandé une place au bar (même si le resto était vide à l'heure de notre arrivée) pour nous permettre de voir le chef à l'oeuvre. La connection s'est tout de suite faite nous nous sommes mis à discuter des derniers arrivages de poisson & il nous a fait goûter un morceau de thon fraîchement arrivé. Le service était parfait, le serveur connaissait très bien ses produits. Nous avions quelques questions sur les différents saké. Il nous a très bien guidé dans nos décisions & nous a même fait goûter un saké chaud pour nous montrer la différence. Les sushis signatures étaient vraiment tous très bons. Beau décor, belle ambiance & bonne bouffe. On y retourne c'est sûr!

One of the few top-notch sushi spots in Brossard, offering a near high-end experience. The service is excellent, the sushi is delicious, & the ambiance is fantastic. The place is cozy, & the staff are very friendly & helpful. With an à la carte menu, you can expect high-quality sushi at a premium price. Highly recommended for a date night, especially on ladies' nights when you can enjoy two-for-one specials on select items from the chef's menu.
