I found a small piece of bone in my rice. It may have come from the chicken, & I understand it can happen, but I think more attention should be paid in the future. Thank you.
Pros: Hamid is very friendly & a stand-out guy, & Selim is chill & has a good sense of humour. I love when they deliver your food to your table. Love the piri piri bowl, as well as the chicken thigh. If you need a lot of protein, either take the thigh or double protein of something. Cons: The sofas could benefit from a bit of maintenance perhaps. Not the staff's fault. They work very hard & do a great job. I would definitely recommend this place if you are going for something relatively casual, but still want to feel good about eating somewhere & also eating healthier than McDonald's hopefully.
The food is amazing! The sauce can be spicy or mild, they both taste great on the grilled chicken in their sandwich or salad or poutine. The piri piri poutine has a good balance of sauce, cheese curds & crispy fries. Must try!
Worst monteiro spot ever, they didn't even fill the fries up halfway, bread was stale, chicken was bland, go to other monteiro locations cus this was not it
$10 for chicken leg with thigh, fries, rice & salade, you cannot beat that. Service was very professional, fast, cordial & the food was finger-lickin-good. Highly recommended 👍👍

The chicken was really good, it tasted clean & was tender. However, the rice was very undercooked. I really liked the fries though! I don't recommend the Natas they were served cold & the pastry didn't feel fresh.
Excellent service, delectable cuisine, featuring irresistibly grilled chicken paired with a unique sauce. I cannot speak highly enough of this establishment; it comes with my most enthusiastic recommendation! & yes, if you're wondering, everything in the menu is really 10$!
Hi , I eat chicken in Monterio since 2019 & now recently one of my friend said it's not halal I like the food & I trust the service who always said to me that everything is halal . I send an email to the restaurant customer service requesting them to let me know if it's haram chicken or halal chicken & also is it halal certified as no where in the website it says it's halal Not responding to my email is making me suspicious
Outstanding chicken , perfectly spiced , fresh not dry like some of it's competitors, love their spicey rice their half chicken meal is a must. Definitely a returning customer.
I have gone several times. The food is delicious & fresh. I loved the Monteiro sandwich, the Piri Piri Bowl, & the chicken leg combo with rice, fries, salad & beverage. The passion fruit soft drink is also great.
