Went for a little afternoon lunch & beer & let me tell you, this place is great! Good music vibes, amazing food from entre to banh mi, super great guy Marc-Andre running the place, great drinks & best of all the prices are very affordable! This place is a gem.

Un lundi de février, nous nous sommes présentés chez Monsieur Mì pour un TakeOut, 30 minutes avant la fermeture. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par le proprio, Marc-André, qui nous a concocté 3 délicieux sandwiches bánh mì (poulet grillé, porc BBQ & leur spécial du jour, le flanc de porc avec son croustillant !!! ) dont les légumes marinés rehaussent le goût de l'ensemble de l'oeuvre. Le tout accompagné de leur soupe miso & nouilles réconfortante.
La décoration du petit resto est superbe & chaleureuse. La musique des années 80 lors de ma visite m'a rappellé mon temps à l'université !!! Monsieur Mì a toute une sélection de microsillons pour égayer votre visite. Je recommande vivement !!!
They do beautiful bánh mì-style sandwiches at lunch, & we just tried the evening menu-it has instantly become my favorite spot in Lachine. We had the smashed cucumber salad, salmon tartare, & both the tofu & pork buns. Everything was delicious, & the wine was good.
Our kids loved it, but next time we'll definitely go back for date night. The decor is cozy, the music is excellent, & the overall vibe is great. Prices are extremely reasonable.
La nourriture - soit les banh mi le midi & les bao le soir sont vraiment excellents. Il y a clairement un travail qui est fait du côté cuisine d'aller pousser l'idée pour créer quelque chose de distinctif chez Mr. Mi.
Au niveau du service - Vincent le barman fait des excellents cocktails & a une présence très agréable lorsque assis au bar.
Le propriétaire qui agit aussi comme DJ & au service met une ambiance très agréable dans le petit restaurant en jonglant agréablement entre des vinyles & de la musique digitale.
En conclusion : prix très raisonnables, bouffe extra & service convivial - je recommande!!

Si vous désirez une expérience fantastique, je vous conseille M. Mi. Les Banh Mï, ces délicieux sandwiches vietnamiens, que vous pouvez manger sur place ou apportez sont extraordinaires. Accompagnés d'une soupe, d'une salade, d'un dessert ou d'un breuvage chaud, votre heure de lunch sera mémorable. & que dire de Marc-André, le propriétaire passionné avec son grand sourire & sa gentillesse & son aimable assistant, à eux deux, ils vous feront découvrir un autre monde. Ce petit restaurant de quartier vous charmera. Avec sa musique sortie même de vinyles d'un autre temps, vous serez comblés. Allez-y, ça vaut réellement le déplacement. Donc, bonne dégustation & longue vie à ce charmant petit restaurant. D.D.
They serve their'banh mi' on a French baguette that's way too skinny & tough it takes forever to chew. I get that they're trying something different & sometimes overthinking simplicity in the restaurant industry will bring you down.....it really doesn't work. & $50 for three fake banh mi is just outrageous.
On the positive side, the staff were AMAZING-fantastic service-& the vibe of the place is great.
Unfortunately, the bread is the dealbreaker. I'd much rather have a real banh mi on proper soft bread. I won't be coming back.
