Moa Moa is a cute, unpretentious little Korean restaurant with friendly staff, flavourful dishes, affordable prices, generous portions & a varied menu. They have lots of vegetarian options. I highly recommend it. 🫰🏻 *** August 2024 The restaurant was packed when we arrived, but luckily a table freed up within 5 minutes. One staff member at Moa Moa does all the customer service & waitressing. She's trilingual, zooms around the restaurant serving everyone at once & is very attentive to her customers. She set our table & took our order quickly, checked in on us several times & made sure we had everything we needed. We could tell that she really cared. 💕 Our entrées arrived within 10 minutes, & our meals were served promptly after that. I always get the tofu japchae when I come here. It's sweet, chewy, peppery & just so darn good. The tofu melts in your mouth, & somehow the noodles stay piping hot for hours. 🍜 The sweet & spicy bite-sized tteokkochi is addictive. It's coated with a tangy sauce & satisfyingly cripsy on the outside & chewy on the inside. 🥢 My husband had beer, fried chicken & ttukbaegi bulgogi, & he thoroughly enjoyed them. The cherry on the cake was the little side of kimchi & (what I assumed to be) pickled radish. So simple, but so tasty. 😙👌🏻 *** 2021, During the pandemic When I stopped by, the restaurant was a bit understaffed. Its two employees could barely keep up with their online delivery orders & in-store customers. I had to wait 10 minutes just to place my order, & a customer who walked in turned around & left after a few minutes! The employee was very nice & apologized several times for the delay. If you're not in a hurry, the food is worth the wait. I tried the tofu japchae: it was 6% vegetables, 4% tofu & 90% noodles (maybe that's why their prices are so low) & so flavourful! I wasn't expecting such plain-looking noodles to be so tasty. Plus I had enough leftovers for two meals! They use styrofoam takeout containers, so maybe remember to bring your own. I'll definitely be coming back to try out other menu items!
Overall, I'd give them no more than a 3.5. The service was pretty slow since only one person was servicing all the tables. The food taste-wise was decent but they put very little beef/chicken.
So far, meilleur resto coréen que j'ai testé à Montréal. Le poulet frit est vraiment bon & les autres plats aussi. Les rice cake a la sauce sucrée épicée sont top aussi. J'aime bien y aller des jours/heures plus tranquilles car parfois il y a trop de monde. En voyant d'autres avis je pense qu'il vaut mieux éviter les périodes coup de feu. J'espère qu'ils continueront à conserver ce niveau de qualité dans le temps.
1ere fois dans ce petit resto que nous avons trouvé bien sympathique. Excellent service & les plats Coréen y sont goûteux, savoureux & bien épicé Les trois entrées choisis c'était parfait. Le BBQ de Boeuf marine avec le riz & les légumes....délicieux. Le poulet désossé sauce sucré & épicé...une merveille en bouche.. La crème glacé aux sésame noir un excellent rafraîchissement & que dire du gâteau au fromage........j'en aurais repris encore. En somme nous avons passé une belle soirée à déguster d'excellents plats Coréen & d'avoir reçu un excellent service de la part du serveur ainsi que de la dame à la caisse que je soupçonne d'être la proprio du restaurant le moa moa. Félicitations au personnel du moa moa Qualité, service ,propreté.....& pour cela nous allons revenir chez vous & nous recommandons fortement votre resto sans hésitation.
La cuisine est excellente (essayez le poulet frit) & les prix raisonnables, mais ce qui distingue ce restaurant à mon avis, c'est le service, attentionné & amical. J'y retournerais sans hésiter!

Reeeally great Korean food 🤤 their ramen & bibimbap are fantastic, & the staff is so sweet, attentive, & kind! Love coming here with friends. The only thing I'd say is that it can be a bit chilly in the restaurant during the winter, but besides that it's a fantastic spot!
Un joli p'tit resto beau, bon, pas cher; la propriétaire , qui s'occupait du service aux tables lors de mon passage, est très sympathique & souriante! Edit 2024: la proprio est toujours aussi gentille, tellement agréable de venir ici ^^
The boneless fried chicken is soooo good! Especially with the sweet & spicy sauce! The lady at the counter is super nice & accomodating. Plus, I came when it had first opened & she didn't speak French yet, but her French is now perfect!
My favourite Korean restaurant in Montreal! It's so cute inside & the service is always friendly! I absolutely LOVE their Korean fried chicken with their sweet & spicy sauce & their kimchi stew!
