Figured I'd share my personal experience after seeing some stuff online about Mimimelon's that didn't reflect upon my experience.
I ordered a custom Grinch cake on short-notice once upon a time & Mimimelon's was the only place to offer a quality looking cake at an affordable price in such short notice (2 days). When I received the cake every detail I had asked for was meticulously prepared with care. I paid 100$ for 8 portions.
The actual cake itself was a little dry, but I've definitely had worse.
The environment was clean, the bilingual staff was respectful & extremely pleasant to deal with by phone, email as well as in person.
I would do business with them again as they were reliable.

Myself & my daughter were in Montreal for the day. On our way back to Ottawa she googled peanut nut free bakeries. She found this one. Anaphylaxis is the reality of her health. She's had very life threatening events, so finding this little gem was a dream. Honestly, most places that are safe in Ottawa aren't worth it. Blah...but this place! Babe, this was amazing. We got 2 of so many things & were delighted. Taste was incredible. Millefueille was to die for! The little lemon meringue tarts were heaven! The cakes...OMG...Then at the end saw the macarons. They were lovely too.
We will definitely be back.

I just discovered this bakery & I must admit it's great. I've tried a lot of pastries, it's hard to find decent ones. But this one is worth it. Always fresh & delicious. Especially croissants.
