Microbrasserie 4 Origines comes across as a welcoming, laid-back spot with a diverse beer list that blends European styles with approachable IPAs, tasty bites from the food truck, and a friendly team ready with recommendations. The atmosphere is convivial and relaxed, with games, pinball, and art adding character, and the space is dog- and family-friendly with plenty of room. Guests praise the beer quality, the helpful service, and the sense of community, making this brewery a go-to choice for a casual beer experience.
We've been to 4 Origins Brewery several times now, & it never disappoints! The food is consistently delicious, as are their beers & drinks. Standout menu items include the artichoke & goat cheese pizza with its incredible sourdough crust, & the warm olives served with homemade focaccia - both absolute must-tries. Also try the Paloma Spritz cocktail! It's amazing!
The open-concept kitchen adds to the cool, laid-back vibe, & if you come on a Saturday, you'll be treated to live music, making it an even more special experience. It's such a great way to support a local microbrewery/brewpub.
A word of advice: make a reservation - this place gets busy for a reason! Hands down, my favourite spot on the West Island. 🍻🍕🎶
Visited on September 1, 2018, around 1PM. Located on St Patrick near Wellington, just a stone throw from the Lachine Canal & the bike path, so a stop for cyclist. Parking is mostly on the streets, but you can park on the grounds were the brewery is on weekends, just ask before hand. Inside is fairly spacious, with a patio that you can only enter from the inside, its also handicap friendly. Inside, there is a lot of things to keep you busy, giant screen a plenty of games including a table tennis. Nice service but you must order at the bar. They only have snacks but you can bring your own lunch or diner, they even have a delivery menu from a local pizzaria that you can call. 7 beers were available on tap, two of them I had before (apricot pale ale & a session IPA) & they were very nice. I had the pilot project brews, a witbier (nice) & a brown ale (good), although they were kind of pricy. You can bring home some growlers or cans. A place that could be in the top beer destinations in Montreal.
The beers are excellent except we went on Saturday night & the kitchen is closed. Food options are only chips. There is also no server so it's serve on your own. So probably it's better to try this on weekdays The beers are cheap & tasty & would recommend it. I took the aux fruits & it's a bit sour which I preferred in my beers. The place is pet friendly which is fun to have drinks with your pet buddy. It might be hard to find parking as well but it's free parking on street. Would recommend this place after work & to biker. Nice place for an excellent chat with your mates.
Love this place! Beer is amazing, ambience & service even better! Friendly staff, tried several flights & all the beers were fantastic. Will definitely be back!

Happened upon this place during their fun Monday quiz night on grignotines. & people were in a great mood for a Monday night. We were looking for a place for my bday to just enjoy a good pint, so this was such a pleasant surprise. It has great character & a great vibe. I love that there's many places to sit & enjoy in more social areas vs something quieter. Lots of stand up & sit down areas. Area to play some pinball games. You can see where they make their beer. The host of the game was awesome & the bartenders were equally so. Great staff. Very chill atmosphere. &, of course, excellent microbrew. Loved my IPA! Great location by the canal. Afterwards we went to sit at the park & try to see the stars next to the water just across the street.
Great brewery with an excellent selection of beers. The IPA, cream ale & the stout were delicious. Ambiance is great. They have a few arcade games as well. Lot is seating inside & small patio outside. Staff is knowledgeable.
Self-service for small party. Delicious food from food track. French fries & burgers were the best. Chicken wings had to eat without skin. They open at 12pm for beer but food gets ready around 4pm. Good atmosphere for everyone including dogs & kids. 4 gaming machines & table games available. Outdoor street parking.
We love burgers & we love creatively microbrewed beer. Our new friends had both & we had a great time. Every level of this place aligns with who we are. Video games, great smash burgers, even better creative craft beers, a lively atmosphere, a down-to-earth, no-nonsense, honest approach to their product are a perfect recipe for success. We showed up relatively early for a Saturday, but it soon filled up with a large crowd of apparently loyal patrons. I ended up trying all 16 beers currently on the menu, & while all of their expertly crafted, unique mix of ingredients were excellent, my favourites were: - Montreal State of Mind (NEIPA), the strongest of the list & suggested to us by our server Greta, was a delight to enjoy. - Grisette à l'Argousier, a lighter, slightly smoky yet fruity & tart drink. - Saison des Cônes, I'll be honest, this was one of the last ones I tried, & everything was getting pretty hazy. I only wrote the name of it to remember later, but I'm sure it was great if I noted it 😅. Love the play on words, though. They're about to change their menu, adding new beers for fall, so we will definitely have to return for that & for the quiz nights.
The food is out of this world, delicious, hot & fast. I had the gose & the raspberry & Li sour & both were very well executed. The place has a laid back funky vibe, steps away from the canal & local volleyball courts. There's seating inside & outside but with the temperatures today (31°) we sat outside to get the breeze. A short walk from downtown & very much worth it. Glad this was the 1st craft beer stop we had in Montreal. Sets the bar high. Merci

Recently sat down the other week & was blown away! Such a fun atmosphere & the chicken wings were out of this world. Me & my girlfriend shared a poutine as well with the best gravy I've ever had. Beer was delish as well, but the food truck definitely stole the show. Will return!
Guys from the food truck are the nicest people ever - we've got a little surprise from them last time, & food is very tasty. The best atmosphere in Griffintown, summer & winter & great choice of beers as well. People at the bar are lovely! You can come with your doggo too, plenty of space inside & outside. Great place.
