Cool spot with delicious beers.
The prices are on the higher end & sometimes you can wait in line for 10-15 minutes before you get a beer. But the lineup usually dies down later in the evening.
Great beer
In a cool space
Solid food
But - despite the quality - expensive.
I've been to Messorem multiple times, & each visit has been a great experience. The atmosphere is lively & welcoming, making it a perfect spot whether you're hanging out with friends or on a date.
During the summer, their outdoor space is absolutely beautiful & adds to the overall vibe. Even indoors (during colder months), the setting remains enjoyable. The staff are fantastic-friendly, efficient, & always bring positive energy when taking orders & serving.
As for the drinks, the beer selection is solid, & the pricing is fair. The food is decent, though I think there's room for improvement.
Overall, Messorem is a great place to relax & enjoy good beer in a fun environment.
I beg you, order everything, every single beer pitcher you can, but don't order their food unless you are desperately hungry!
Their beers are amazing!
If you are not into beers like I am, well, they'll surely find you that fruity soft blend you'll give up enjoying.
Everything about this place is so nice that it pardons our weird dining experience.
Nice service people, great atmosphere & music. Love seeing people of all ages together. Even kids are playing freely, making this place chaotic, but full of energy.
Smash Burgers are just better... Please try to change my mind & let me tell you why you're wrong!
I've had many a burger in my life from 9oz double stacked patties with cheese & bacon to the thinnest of Smash Burgers that are crisper then a chip. Here at @mitchdeli_messorem you get something right in the middle of that.
Absolutely a show stopping smash burger. You need to check out my buddies spot its amazing & grab a craft beer while you're there. I love a smash burger that come out piping hot. From the meat, to the bun, just holding this thing might burn your hands, but that's what you want! A smash burger that's cool when you bite into it, is not a real smash burger. It needs to be hot.
Perfectly cook patties, nice & even cook, crispy, great eat tecture & very juicy still. What looks like to be American cheese, again perfect. Some Pickles, a little onion & a sauce to tie it all together... That's all she wrote folks! Perfection in a bun.
My buddy also recommended I get the poutine, & at first I was like ok Yaya it's a poutine you had one you had them all... I was so wrong, this is one of my favourite poutine I've had yet in MTL. Sauce, fries & cheese, amazing combo & flavour! I see what you're talking about @maxime_gagne_ very good!
10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for great food & some great beer. Sick vibe, FOODGASMIC 💦 approved!
This place is a most stop of you love beer & great food in Montreal!
Very friendly staff. A really cool place. It'll be wonderful in the summer. Great fruity beers. Food was wonderful. Definitely will go back
Messorem is one of my go-to spots for beers in Montreal. Superb selection of top quality IPA & lager. & they serve food, too!
Thank you for offering me to taste your great selection of craft beers including the smoothie beer.
Visited on August 22, 2020, in early afternoon. Located in the upper part of Côte-Saint-Pierre, between the Lachine Canal & Autoroute 15, for cyclist it's half way between McAuslan Brewery & the Atwater Market. The brewery is next the a aqua (with some white & rust) water tower, which explains the colors on the logo. Street parking only. They are in a former industrial building, with graffitis that was there before they opened. Quit a large patio with aqua picnic tables & a few Adirondack/Muskoka chairs. The inside has a long bar, a few lounge sofas, not much more sitting places because of COVID-19 (not stools at the bar for now), it looks industrial with a few art works. Because of the pandemic, service is at the bar only. Quit a small food menu, a few mexican stuff, some hot dog & snacks. More than a dozen, maybe 20ish beers on tap. You know the saying "variety is the spice of life", well you won't find it here, about 90% of the taps are some forms of hazy IPA, there are a few gose (sour salty ales) & a larger, but that is it. Fans of the New England style will be happy, until they are pass that phase!
Great location & energetic vibe. Lots of very hop forward beer when I was there. A few stout & darker beer on tap. Tried the kellierbier. Terrific if you love a hops forward beverage!
Was able to hit up Messorem a couple times during my visit to the city. Beers were amazing, & the poutine also rocked!
I don't even like beer, but I love the vibes here. A great spot to listen to music, people, & dog watch & have a beer, especially on a nice day.
We stopped here fr the first time during our stay in Old Montreal. It was ~15-20 minutes from our hotel so we opted to drive. Plenty of street parking was available. It is a large place with plenty of outdoor & indoor seating. We had a NE IPA & a gose & really enjoyed both. There were so many to choose from & while flights weren't available, they were happy to let me try the gose before ordering. It's a comfortable setting, great customer service & delicious beer. We just had lunch otherwise we would have definitely ordered food- it looked great!
Amazing place with incredible selection. Absolutely try the smoothie beers & the slushie beer, even if it sounds weird!!
