Amazing spot! The food tastes authentic, the décor is cozy, & the staff is incredibly kind. Great value for the size & quality of the meals. I highly recommend this restaurant for either takeout or dine-in.

Excellent food. Their recipe is unconventional & not typical, they took the Mediterranean concept & revisited it to give it more taste. Excellent plates & huge portions. Eclectic decor & warm ambiance with nice diversified music.
I loved their couscous royal & I tried the lamb tajine from my friend & they were both amazing. I highly recommend them.

Stopped in for a weekday lunch (only Monday to Thursday) & was pleasantly surprised. I don't know much about North African/Algerian cuisine, so it was largely new to me. The Chorba soup was delicious & the decor is cozy. I was slightly disappointed in the couscous: although it was tasty & there was some zucchini & a trace of turnip, it was mostly a mix of frozen vegetables.
Overall a fantastic experience with a warm welcome & excellent service.

Food & service were excellent! We took the groupe royal tasting menu, each dish was phenomenal. Would highly recommend. The decor of the restaurant was lovely & gives the warmth to the ambiance. Will be back for sure.
Belle ambiance, très beau décor, excellente nourriture. Bon service, musique pas trop forte qui nous permet de discuter facilement. Nous y retournerons à coup sûr.
Nous sommes allés souper au restaurant Menthe & couscous in vendredi soir où il y a le spectacle de danse orientale. Nous étions impatients d'aller y manger pour souligner la fin de nos études universitaires d'ingénierie. Plusieurs points positifs pour cet endroit. Le décor, la musique & l'ambiance nous permettent de retrouver les pays méditerranéens le temps d'une soirée. Nous avons été bien accueilli au départ & installés confortablement au coin des groupes. Une bonne explication sur le menu, par notre serveur & la gérante Rachel. L'entrée de moussaka & doigt royal était délicieuse. Le tajine au jarret d'agneau était impeccable. Cuisson parfaite mais & gouteux. On a finis notre repas par des bons assortiments de desserts & le café turque qui nous a fait sourire. Un incontournable à Montréal.

Rarement il m'a été donné d'être accueillie, écoutée, servie avec ce decorum, ce professionnalisme & cette courtoisie. Serveurs & aides-serveurs omniprésents sans être embarassants ni étouffants. Une qualité culinaire d'exception, quand on dit cuit à la perfection...il le sera. Un incontournable au moins une fois dans sa vie

I had the most wonderful experience celebrating Valentine's Day at Menthe & Couscous! From the moment we walked in, the warm Mediterranean ambiance set the perfect romantic mood. The candlelit tables, soft lighting, & elegant decor created an intimate & cozy atmosphere.
The food was absolutely delicious-every dish was packed with authentic Mediterranean flavors. We started with the mezze platter, which was fresh & flavorful, followed by the lamb tagine that was cooked to perfection. My partner had the seafood couscous, & it was equally delightful.
The live music added a magical touch to the evening, making the experience even more special. The staff was incredibly welcoming & attentive, ensuring that every detail was perfect.
Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or simply want to enjoy amazing Mediterranean cuisine, Menthe & Couscous is the place to be. Highly recommended.
Des entrées aux repas toute es fabuleux la mechouia en entrée une des meilleures que j'ai mangé à vie, le service est au top, l'ambiance le décor je vais y retournée assurément & avec des amis leurs faire découvrir.
Really nice restaurant. Nice touch with the decor. Mediterranean inspired. Food is really good, with a fusion touch. We took the group royal Menu. Nice variety & taste. The spices used are typical to the Mediterranean region. You will eat well, not stuffed. Reservation is a must, especially if you are a big group.

The food is full of complex flavors, absolutely delicious, & expertly executed. Byob. Great decor, lots of ambiance & very good service. Best to go as a group since the portions are rather big & sharing plates allows for tasting many different dishes. Bring your appetite. We will definitely go back.
My spouse & I had heard about this restaurant for a few years. Finally when the opportunity presented itself & we found ourselves in Montreal we planned ahead & booked this restaurant. Advance reservations highly recommended! The restaurant is fairly large with a bustling wait staff. The restaurant is decorated with Mediterranean & Middle Eastern lanterns & motifs. Our server was very energetic & the restaurant was very accommodating to modify the tasting menu per our dietary restriction. The tasting menu was highly recommended since the menu is quite expansive. The food came to our table promptly & was beautifully plated. The menu is on the pricier side but well worth it for special occasions.
The decor is casbah meets cool. Attentive service & knowledgable staff. Original dishes created from Mediterranean favourites & beautiful presentation. Quite pricey though .. definitely a treat
I heard this retaurant was good but you have to reserve in advance & I could never get a reservation but when I did go; the food was the best Mediterranean food I had in Montreal, for my husband that came from that part of the world was the same experience fantastic food. For me was especially the couscous royal was so well delicious. We had very good service. Now I understand why this restaurant is so busy. The decor is nice.
Dans le joli quartier latin, un restaurant qui combine la brique nord américaine & les lampions orientaux, ce qui donne un joli décor. Le personnel est très gentil, efficace & rapide. Quant aux saveurs, c'est un feu d'artifice! Le menu de groupe royal familial, est à prendre sans hésiter. Sans doute une des meilleures tables de Montréal.
