McKibbins Irish Pub delivers a warm, authentic Irish pub vibe with a solid drink list and hearty classics on the menu. Service is consistently friendly and efficient, with prompt seating and steady drink refills. The atmosphere is lively yet easygoing, perfect for catching a game or enjoying live music, while the crowd includes students, travelers and locals. Food and beer receive strong praise, from traditional stews and bangers and mash to fish and chips, with generous portions and satisfying flavors.
Super disappointing. I used to really enjoy coming to this pub, but tonight was a big disappointment. My burger & fries were flavourful, as usual. But they were served lucwarm, by staff who really couldn't care less. No checking in to see how I was enjoying it or if I needed anything.
Which brings me to the staff. The place was quiet, not surprising for a Sunday evening. But the staff seemed more interested in chatting & looking at their phones than tending to their few customers. It took the staff about 20 minutes to clear my empty pint glass & I basically needed to send up a flare to get another pint.
While this used to be my favourite traditional pub in Montreal, it has a lot of improving to do to make it back into my list.
Love it! Cozy place, nice music, perfect food & drinks, & the most important thing, stuffs are super! & our pretty Australian waitress Greta (if I am not wrong in spelling!) was very kind & open & friendly ❤?Strongly recommended!
ALways good to drink a beer at a Irish pub my kind place its all normal ppl & no douch bags or Barbie girls & the drinks are good if you like red beers black browns like me...we visted it other day stopped in at first was soso cus hockey game but after music & all was cool..a bit on the $$ side the beers some..but thats mtl..

My bartender poured me the best-looking Guiness pint I've seen this side of the pond… I think her name was Sam - I'll be back for more of the same, to be sure.
Encore une place où les serveurs font le minimum & espèrent le maximum de pourboires. J'invite la direction à bien choisir le staff. C'est fatigant de faire servir par des inutiles comme ça.
Belle place pas trop cher. Le fish & chips est sublime! Ma seule réserve est sur la musique. Elle ne fitait pas tant avec l'ambiance d'un pub irlandais.
Tellement contente d'avoir un Mckibbins sur la Rive Sud! La qualité est aussi exceptionnel qu'on reconnaît de cette chaine. Un gros merci à Sophie & Simon pour votre excellent service :)
