After a disappointing experience elsewhere, my wife & I ended up at McKibbin's on St-Laurent on her birthday, & it completely turned our night around.
We were able to comfortably find seats at the bar right away & were quickly greeted by a very friendly bartender/server. She immediately took our drink order, brought menus, & made us feel welcome.
Our food arrived quickly & was delicious, we both had the bookmaker sandwich with fries & gravy. Service was attentive throughout, with regular check-ins & drink refreshes without ever feeling intrusive.
Overall, it was a relaxed, pleasant experience with great service & good food. Exactly what we were hoping for to end the evening on a positive note.

Very cozy Irish pub, great variery of drinks & food & good prices. Really good spot to watch sports too, especially Canadiens matches. The nachos are extremely good, the french fries were not the best & the chicken tenders average.
Food is always excellent & perfectly adapted with the ambiance & drinks. Service is good; if it's really busy it's ok, but it's never bad. I have a lot of good memorie at this place. Even the time I tryed to eat the most spicy chicken wing (so spicy you have to sign a discharge) & couldn't stop even if I felt my stomach turning. Yes there chiecken is THAT good! Don't worry they have regular chicken wings as well ;)
Love it! Cozy place, nice music, perfect food & drinks, & the most important thing, stuffs are super! & our pretty Australian waitress Greta (if I am not wrong in spelling!) was very kind & open & friendly ❤?Strongly recommended!
ALways good to drink a beer at a Irish pub my kind place its all normal ppl & no douch bags or Barbie girls & the drinks are good if you like red beers black browns like me...we visted it other day stopped in at first was soso cus hockey game but after music & all was cool..a bit on the $$ side the beers some..but thats mtl..

Nice place 2 floors & a back yard (terrace) not expensive at all beers from 6.50 $ nice ambiance perfect to go drink, talk or watch a game! Nice service & clean!
My friends & I always seem to end up at Mckibbins & it rly never fails. The best vibe with live music & a fun atmosphere. THE place to go with your homies for a drink, a dance or to watch a game. Couldn't recommend enough.
I have complicated feelings about this bar. I've been here two times in two days, & former was horrible, but the latter was amazing LoL We were three in the first visir & only one of us order. Omg, it made them crazy. We asked for a water for the table, & they only brought a glass for my friend who ordered a beer. I mean, c'mon, such an non classy attitude. Anyways, the second one is good because I guess everyone ordered somethings to drink & eat. The atmosphere is good, prices are okay though.

I love this pub & the one on Bishop Street, but unfortunately, I do not recommend their grilled vegetable salad. None of the ingredients went well together, & for $22 (I added chicken), I'd go with the burger ! My friends got burgers, chicken wings & the poutine & they all really loved their food. The drinks were good, & the service was slow (understandable on a Friday evening). Will definitely come back!
Service here is great. The bartenders don't let your drink get half way empty without asking for another. Food comes out quick if you're eating & it is pretty good.
Service was great & I dig the atmosphere. My friends said that the drinks were tasty, though weak. The sweet potato fries seemed a bit pricey, but they were ok. Sadly got there for the late night menu so a lot of the menu is off limits except the deep fried items. Live music was great & at the perfect volume to chat with friends.
