Really good spot to watch sports too, especially Canadiens matches. The nachos are extremely good, the french fries were not the best & the chicken tenders average.
A bastion of sanity in an otherwise French speaking metropolis. Food was wonderful & my guiness was tasty.
Definitely on the pricey side of things, wont be going there often. But overall good experience with the staff & food.
So happy to find out there's a Mckibben's so close to me! 100% worth the drive from Ontario!
La nourriture & les bières sont bonnes, le service est cool & l'ambiance est chouette !
Le seul truc c'est que par moment le prix de la nourriture grimpe vite ( le prix des boissons semblent quant à lui plutôt correct !
Im here on a Monday. 5 people, 4 different meals. 2 Irish stews, a bookkeeper sandwhich(i think) & a shepherds pie & a chicken dish.
All were amazing. The sandwich was the best beef dip I've had. Irish stew was bangin!
Hit this place up. Seriously
Food is always excellent & perfectly adapted with the ambiance & drinks. Service is good; if it's really busy it's ok, but it's never bad. I have a lot of good memorie at this place. Even the time I tryed to eat the most spicy chicken wing (so spicy you have to sign a discharge) & couldn't stop even if I felt my stomach turning. Yes there chiecken is THAT good! Don't worry they have regular chicken wings as well ;)
Same Great Vibe, Bigger Stage for the Party
This bar has grown up-but hasn't lost its soul. I used to come here years ago, & now that it's moved to a bigger venue, I was curious to see if it still had that magic. It does.
No lineup outside, but inside it was packed. The live band was fantastic, playing high-energy covers that had the whole crowd singing along. The atmosphere was loud, joyful, & full of life-perfect for a night out with friends or just letting loose. Lots of young people, dancing, mingling, & yes, a bit of bumping & grinding. It's a party spot, no doubt.
Despite the crowd, service was quick & friendly. The staff kept things moving with a smile. Great place to grab a pint, belt out some tunes, & soak in the vibrant energy. Bigger space, same heart. I'll definitely be back.
This is my new go-to pub after years of going to that other pub on Prince Arthur. Their menu includes many pub favourites including an excellent Irish stew & their beer selection has my St. Ambroise Cream Ale. The playlist is great, lots of rock classics.
