Review Summary

Marché Panier lakay earns praise for generous portions and delicious flavors, with the Griot and Legume frequently highlighted and the rice and red beans described as tasty with a rich sauce. The Pikliz is spicy and flavorful, a true test of Haitian cuisine, and a mason jar of pikliz with scotch bonnets, seeds and all adds authenticity. The Griot is noted as moist and reliably good. The owner is very nice and Haitian spices are available for those seeking authentic seasoning. A dining area has recently opened, inviting more guests to try the menu. Diners say they will return again and again, and some mention wishing they had photographed their meals to share later. Overall, the place feels welcoming, with generous portions and comforting flavors that stand out among Haitian options.

Great food! The Griot & Legume were amazing. I've been here a few times & the Griot is always moist! The rice & red beans is good & the sauce very tasty. Pikliz is where I really judge my Haitian food, & it doesn't disappoint!! It's spicy & tastes very good. Almost as good as my own!!😆(Mason jar of pikliz with 2 scotch bonnets, seeds & all!! Yummy) The owner is super nice. If you're looking for Haitian spices they have them too. Recently they just opened a dining area! Hopefully some of the karate kids parents will stop in & try a taste of Haiti! I'll be back! Again & again. Already have LOL
I am sorry I did not take pics before I devoured the food from here. I will make an effort in the future to share pics😃
