Our guests expect to find our menu of wok-cooked dishes, such as our signature Orange Chicken or our delicious Honey Garlic Chicken. And they are always pleasantly surprised by the new additions to our ever-evolving menu, which captures the best of Cantonese, Szechuan, Hunan, and Mandarin regions.
Overall, Manchu Wok delivers quick service, friendly counter staff and generous portions with fresh ingredients, and dishes like honey chicken and General Tao are often praised, along with well-balanced noodles and crispy spring rolls that make a solid fast lunch choice. Some reviews note drawbacks such as overly salty broth, bland flavors, or inconsistency between locations, and a few dishes may feel less satisfying when meat portions are smaller than the noodles.
Very disappointing experience & unacceptable customer service.
I sent my daughter to this Manchu Wok location to pick up food we ordered through Too Good To Go. We ordered partly to support the business & partly because the quality & portion sizes here are no longer what they used to be. Portions are about half of what they are at other Manchu Wok locations, which is why we had already stopped going to this location.
The bigger issue is the attitude of the staff. The woman working there was extremely rude to my daughter. There had just been a very bad snowstorm, & she arrived only 4 minutes past the pickup time. When my daughter explained the reason, the response she received was:'I don't care, you better not arrive late next time.'
To put this in perspective, this was on a Thursday, the pickup was at 4:04 pm, & the restaurant closes at 9 pm. It was not a situation where anyone's time was being held up or operations disrupted. There was simply no reason for that level of hostility.
This is not the first time this employee has been rude, but this interaction was by far the worst. If a business chooses to be on the Too Good To Go app, customers should not be made to feel uncomfortable or spoken to disrespectfully, especially under reasonable circumstances like severe weather.
Based on the repeated poor service & declining value at this location, I will not be returning.
J'ai pris une soupe wonton. Tellement salée!!!! Ça pas de bon sens un bouillon aussi sale. Ça goûté rien d'autre. J'ai vidé 90% du bouillon pour remplacer par de l'eau. Service ok sans plus.
I love the Manchu Wok in Promenades De L'Outaouais. I ordered the same food in St Bruno & was disappointed. The noodles, General Tao & beef with broccoli were not tasty & the meat dishes were a smaller quantity as the noodles filled the plate.
Came across this Chinese restaurant today at CF Mall in saint bruno. I was amazed by the colorful food & the perfect combination of vegetables & chicken. The bean sprouts were fresh & crispy, & the spring rolls were fried just right, soft inside & crispy outside. I highly recommend everyone to try this place.
