The steam dumplings were a bit over-cooked. The owner offered us awesome services. Overall it's a nice place to chill! ♨️
Repas délicieux, serveur très sympathique qui nous a super bien conseillé sur les plats. Belle découverte ! Prix raisonnables. À recommander. On reviendra, c'est sûr!
The pork bone soup/gamjatang has a rich & silky broth (akin to a good ramen) accompanied by heaping amounts of fall-off-the-bone pork. If you're wondering if you should eat here or what to order, try this.
I don't know why the reviews are so low for this place. Maybe everyone is getting the wrong dish? Get the spicy pork bone soup! It's one of my favorite dishes in the city. I've lived in New York & had spicey pork bone soup at multiple places in New York, & Toronto. This one is by far the best! It's simple but intensely flavored. The portions are large, & the prices are very fair. There are few legit no-frills restaurants in Montreal, & this is one of them.
I always get their pork bone soup every time I come here. My sister used to takeout a few of those to do hotpot at home. It is absolutely delicious & it is a hidden gem for anybody who could handle the heat. That being said, the atmosphere of the place is certainly lacking, & the services were just okay. Seems like most people would rather order takeout instead of coming here, & I would recommend that route too.
Used to go there every week for years a long time ago. The original owners were this couple that made authentic Korean dishes. Went back & had their shabu shabu, & was not disappointed, but not amazed since it used to taste better in my memory. A great spot to go during the weekend if your options were jampacked on Saint Catherine Street.
Owner is very cheap, charge me takeout bowls, no refill on small dishes. Average food taste
Unfortunately the place is ugly, & I thought the price range was more for students' budget. The food was ok, a bit oily though, but we were not happy in overall.
There’s always some things that could be improved but overall this is one of my favorite restaurants! The food is very tasty & the service is great too. I dropped my chopsticks on the floor & was immediately brought a new pair without even having to ask! Just shows how much attention we were being payed & it seems like they really want their customers to have a nice experience :))
