One of my favorite restaurants in the South shore, family owned restaurant serving authentic northern Chinese food. I recommend the beef noodle soup, porc leek egg dumplings & noodles with soy bean paste (Zhajiangmian). The dumplings are clearly fresh & homemade & I will definitely come back for them. Prices are affordable & the decoration from Beijing is lovely. Staff is very friendly
Went there randomly based on the reviews. Seriously the best authentic chinese I've eaten. We had the beef soup which was absolutely insane. We also ordered fried dumplings & meat pies which were a treat. My only negative is that we were so full we couldnt try the pork buns.
2nd time we visit & we came back because we really enjoyed it the first time. The pan fried sandwich are awesome, number 10-12. I had the beef noodle soup last time & I'll have the same this time. It was too good to switch to something else. My wife enjoyed her baoze too. Definitely recommend for an authentic Chinese experience.
Homey northern-ish Chinese food with surprisingly good service & atmosphere. We really liked how laid back our meal was & the staff was very understanding of our small child. The taste do the food is authentic however not anything out of the ordinary so palatable for most.
Jewel in the South Shore. If you prefer more authentic Chinese food with subtle flavors, as opposed to the "typical" Canadian Chinese food, this is the place. The waiter who served us was very friendly, patient, & happy to accommodate all of our requests & whims.
