Regular good ol bar to stop & have a drink outside. Nothing too special. Had a goose island & partner had a bloody Caesar which was 17$ normal average price.
I recently visited Madame Smith & had an absolutely wonderful experience! The ambiance is vibrant & welcoming. I tried the Blanche de Chambly beer, which was crisp & refreshing, & the Poutine Smith, which was simply amazing. The fries were crispy, the gravy rich & flavorful, & the cheese curds perfectly melty. The service was outstanding-the servers were incredibly nice & attentive. Whether you're looking for a place to grab a drink or enjoy some delicious food, Madame Smith is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
Madame Smith offers a blend of ambiance, service, & fun. The warm, inviting atmosphere, complete with soft lighting & comfortable seating, makes it an great spot for both casual gatherings & intimate evenings. The attentive & friendly staff, provides a good service. It is Bingo Night every Tuesday. It's a lively adding a playful vibe to the week. Whether you're a bingo enthusiast or a newbie, there are always great prizes! (mostly to drink ;))
I went to a tacos & bingo night on Tuesday & it was quite the event. Eating & drinking added more cards to your field so chances of winning made it very exciting. It's decored as a young fun place. & I guess it is
so first of all the service is great. the lad who served us was smiley helpfully & really genuinely nice. Actually everyone there was nice. my fiancée & I got 2 beers 2 gins to start with. I had the salmon tartare with fries, it was ok. fries were very nice. 39$ (tax & tip) my fiancée took the burrata salade, one of the saddest salads we have seen in a long time. 34$ (tip & tax) the final bill for a few drinks a common tartare & a sad salade was 140$ . that IS an abomination. jokes aside. we left & couldn't believe our eyes. What has happened to this place? its more expensive than upper hand downtown/ old port restaurants... wont go back.
The crowd was super cool, the ambiance was amazing! Buuuuut don't go there if you want a culinary experience. Lol. It's fine with drinks & stuff, but well. We asked for "Trempette étagée" & it came cold with cheap cold nachos, straight from the bottom of a "Montreal's Nacho's" bag. Very sad presentation in a very sad lil bowl. We were literally disappointed when it came at the table! I do a better presentation for my only self, at home, even if I'm eating in the dark watching RuPaul's Drag Race. At least, shrinkle some cheese, some lil black olives on it & put it in the Air frier™. I know we all are depressed, now, because of the war, winter, the economic crises & stuff. But Lordylord, make it a little pretty, for the joy of life! Please. Sun will come back, people will go to your restaurant & they'll ask for proper nachos & if you keep serving them that, well. You know. But, As I said, The Bingo animation was cool & the ambiance is very pretty, cozy & fun! I went there because it was the only thing "Du genre" open a Tuesday, even if I knew that they have a bad reputation for food. I won't go back..
Came here for a quick drink & a bite to eat, but our stay was prolonged when the car broke down right outside the door. Fortunately, I honestly could not think of a better place to be stuck. On staff were Eloi, Joey, & Sam, & they made us feel completely welcome & safe during this winter. Everybody was so cheerful & fun that it was impossible to feel down about the situation. Ordered the burger with a poutine, & they most certainly did not disappoint! All of the drinks were fantastic as well. I highly recommend the lychee shot & Futee. 10/10, would recommend to anybody.
