I order from here regularly on Uber Eats. I used to LOVE their delicious breakfast bagel sandwiches with an amazing swiss cheese pull that would brighten my morning. Then they slowly started cutting corners: First, they downgraded the cheese from premium swiss to orange cheddar. It sucks but it didn't completely ruin the sandwich. Then, they stopped making garlic & onion bagels. Ok, fine. The last straw: they are now using Miracle Whip instead of mayo. They have adopted the greedy billionaire model of making everything worse & charging you the same price or more for lower quality. I'm done. I hope it was worth losing a regular customer to save maybe 50 cents.
The only place we went for bagels when we visited Montreal. We actually bought several sandwiches for the trip home because we knew we'd miss them that much, & a dozen to have afterwards. We'll be back!
This bagel spot shares space & staff with a casual caribbean restaurant. The space is a bit narrow with limited countertop seating so not great for dine-in. The specialty bagels are of amazing quality & the variety is great, they have some Montreal classics, such as banana chocolate being my personal favourite. As well as some more inventive ones of their own, like the interesting Cranberry Coconut. A smoked salmon sandwich & a mixed 6pack ran me $24-25, so not wildly expensive but not affordable either. Service I received was ok, lady was a bit impatient with me but not to an offensive degree. This place is pretty far from where I live so it was a bit of a mission to get here.
I'm happy to leave another well deserved five star review. We got a smoked salmon & chicken bagel sandwiches & both were perfect. The bagels were just right & fresh, the ratio to the tasty layers in the middle was ideal. There's also a little park with benches & a picnic table around the corner where you can eat your lunch. We are most certainly coming back next time we're in Montreal 🥇

ABSOLUTELY TRY THIS PLACE!! Found this store & dropped in just today seeing Google reviews. So couldn't wait to add mine. We got three bagels One Jalapeno cheddar bagel with Herb & garlic cream cheese, One Jalapeno cheddar bagel with tuna sandwich One spicy mixed bagel sandwich with chicken salad Omg all of them were absolutely amazing. The server was so so kind Took our order patiently, & made it so well & amazing. Thank you so much for letting us experience these amazing bagels. This will be our go to place for bagels in Montreal going forward.
The most mind blowing bagel experience ever. Watch them make the bagels fresh in a wood fired oven. The flavor combinations are truly unique & delicious. Cranberry coconut. & carrots with pineapple are my favorites. My wife's breakfast sandwich was incredible. We took a dozen home.
I can't say enough about this place. Great service. Delicious food. Honestly, it was THE best breakfast sandwich I have ever had in my life. I had egg, cheddar cheese, & smoked turkey on an all-around everything bagel. The bagel was fresh. The egg was cooked to perfection. The cheese melted perfectly. The turkey was perfectly smoked & mouthwatering. Delicious. A must visit if you're in the area.

We were visiting from the States. Very kind staff. Super professional. I had a spicy all around breakfast sandwich & hubby had a cranberry coconut bagel with cream cheese. Honestly, THE best breakfast sandwich I have ever had in my life!!! Please go there if you're in the area.

I get to deal with Shiva during the week mornings. She's the sweetest & makes th best breakfast sandwiche. I HIGHLY recommend Mtl Bagel. They now added MTL Yardie..... Best Jerk Chicken in town.
