I love the fact that they added a play area for kids, this is exactly what we needed & for some reason no place offer that in Montreal.

I had Lylac Catering for my engagement party, & it was amazing! The food was delicious, fresh, & more than sufficient for all our guests. Jean was present & made sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend Lylac for any catering needs!

I am giving it 2 stars because this used to be one of my favorite restaurants for the past 10 years. I frequently visited & often brought friends, even those from outside Montreal. While I understand that prices have increased, as they have at many restaurants, my issue is with the discrepancy between the menu prices & the final bill. For example, my plate was listed as $28 on the menu, but I was charged $35, & with tax & tips, it came to $47. The same thing happened with my friend, who was visiting for the first & last time. Sadly, this will be my last visit to Laylac, & I now understand why it was nearly empty. I had no additional items to my plate such as salad or fries like stated by the manager bellow , neither did my friend & both of our plates were priced differently on the menu & on the receipt
