We celebrated my mothers 96 birthday as well as my sisters. Food was delicious & my grandson says that they make the best Shirley Temple he has ever had. Awesome food & a great team of hosts.
Un classique du quartier de NDG. Menu varié de type bistrot/pub branché à prix abordables. Toujours frais & toujours bon. Ambiance chaleureuse, terrasse sympathique, service aimable. Très respectueux des règles sanitaires de la COVID 19.
I always love our time at Local.. & it's been 16-17 months since our last time.. & we were greeted by our lovely waitress who always takes excellent care of us!! & the food was just perfect.. my Reubin was perfection, my sweet potato fries (best in the city for sure!) & my husband had the big local.. I can tell you we were very very happy- & you will be too! Go! It's great :)

No accommodation for kids at all. I had to order a way too big bugger at $22 for my daughter.
Also, it took 45 minutes to clean our table & been asked if we wanted something else.
The look of the terrasse & ambiance was not the most enjoyable.
Even if the service was not up to expectations the staff was nice.
The food was good.

The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that the choices are a bit limited. However, in this period of a pandemic, when I am on their terrace with the Plexiglas dividers, I feel totally safe. The servers are very attentive as well.
Surprisingly fantastic food for a small Monkland eatery. Quick, friendly service, short wait times, & a variety of delicious bespoke cocktails made for a great night out!
