A Warm Local Gem!
There are restaurants, & then there are places like this. From the moment you walk in, you feel like your soul is truly welcome. The owners & staff are some of the kindest humans you'll meet, creating an atmosphere where strangers easily become friends. The menu is a perfect balance-simple enough to be comforting, yet innovative enough to surprise you. & the food? Absolutely exquisite. If you're looking for a meal that feeds more than just your appetite, this is it.
I'm honestly shocked at the treatment we received at Local 75 in Monkland Village.
We walked in with the intention of grabbing drinks & politely asked if we could use the bathroom before ordering. Instead of a simple yes or no, the manager responded by asking what we were going to use the bathroom for which felt sarcastic & completely unnecessary. It was an uncomfortable way to greet potential customers.
We then said no problem, we'd order drinks first but instead of resolving the situation, she told us to leave & kicked us out.
No explanation. No professionalism. Just instant hostility.
If that's how they treat people who are about to spend money there, I can't imagine how they handle actual issues. There are plenty of other great spots in NDG that know how to treat customers with basic respect. I won't be returning.

Candace is the best waitress we've had in forever & she made our night so wonderful. Food is great but what makes this place incredible is that service. 💪🏻
Okay, don't sleep on this place. We were a large group & the service was excellent. The cocktails were delicious, the food was amazing. We had the wings, truffle fries, steak, reuben, brussel sprouts & labneh, beets & goat cheese, duck with raspberry ponzu, crab cakes & mango salsa, ribs, I'm telling you every plate was perfection. I'm thoroughly impressed- we will definitely be back & I'm telling my friends. Thank you for a great experience.
There's never been a time when Local wasn't the perfect place to demonstrate how awesome NDG is as a pocket of peace in the world. Amazing service, people, vibe, menu.... Even oomami if that's your thing. 5 stars & more - Local is an institution.

Wow! First time here & will definitely be going back. Sat at the bar, chatted with others. Amazing service, delicious food.. great atmosphere. Homemade key lime pie..
Candice was absolutely wonderful! Best drinks I've ever had & the most wonderful energy. The food was absolutely amazing, music is the perfect volume for a pleasant conversation & the atmosphere is divine. Will be coming back for sure! Truly a hidden gem on monkland ✨💕

Candice was the best bartender ever. Super friendly & skilled. The food here is next level, so many restaurants in Montreal taste the same & feel bland a lot of the time but this place is doing something right. Everything is fresh & very tasty. 10/10 would recommend.
A great spot on Monkland. I am jealous to leave this review knowing that even more people will go there & consequently it will be even more difficult to find a table.
Local 75 is our preferd neighborhood restaurant with a great atmosphere, food & reasonable pricing. The service is top notch. I wholeheartedly recommend
I was here this Monday (sept 29). The service was amazing, the waitress is super sweet, had attention to detailed & gave us perfect service even tho she was alone during the lunch time rush hour. The food was great, great selection of alcohol. Would recommend, prices are great !! I found a new place I will continue to enjoy.

Go here & enjoy the amazing experience. Ribs are fall off the bone. Chicken is moist. The fries are crispy. Like everything was just perfect. Drinks sure to get you tipsy.
Whether it's a night out amount girls or a date night, the vibes are there. What a wonderful experience I had there.
We were visiting from out of the area. Ordered a burger medium rare, came well done. They did replace it. However, my sister ordered the crab cakes. She went to take a bite & so noticed an inch long, black hair sticking out of her crab cakes. I mentioned it to her, waiter was right there & overheard. He looked horrified & apologized. At that point, none of us were interested in anything else.
The food here was very good! The ribs, taco bowl with beef & the burger québécois were all amazing. The decor & atmosphere inside is very nice & the patio outside as well. You can't take reservations, so you just have to come in & hope there's space for you, which isn't ideal but i managed to get a table for 3 at 6:00. They forgot to bring out our entre but they were quite busy. Overall great experience, will come back again!
