Nous avions déjà visité ce restaurant après la recommandation de notre fille, mais avions été déçus. Nous avons tout de même décidé de lui donner une seconde chance… & heureusement!

Le tartare de boeuf était excellent, & le burger a beaucoup plu à ma conjointe. En entrée, j'ai pris les calmars accompagnés de chorizo : les calmars étaient vraiment délicieux & tendres. Par contre, gros bémol pour le chorizo, qui était calciné dans les deux plats (les calmars & la poutine au porc effiloché & chorizo).

Un ingrédient brûlé comme ça, ça gâche l'expérience - surtout au prix du repas. Quand on rate une cuisson, on recommence… on ne sert pas ça aux clients.

Ceci dit, le service était bien, & plusieurs éléments du repas étaient très bons. Il ne manque pas grand-chose pour que l'expérience soit vraiment à la hauteur.

Great service. The restaurant was accommodating & facilitated the navigation throughout the facilities with my grandmother who has limited mobility. The staff was kind, helped us with her walker & gave us a table with a lot of space to ensure her security. They really helped us make her birthday into a special occasion.

L'Gros Luxe Vieux-Longueuil c'est comme le luxe du luxe qui rend la luxure luxueuse. À vrai dire, si le luxueux pouvait luxuer, il luxuerait BIG time. Rien à dire de plus. C'est gros, c'est luxueux, puis c'est le Vieux-Longueuil. C'est le cas de le dire. Par ailleurs, l'hôte nous a accueilli comme il se doit. La serveuse a su abonder grandement en termes de luxe & de luxation (métaphore). En bref, c'était LE, c'était GROS & c'était LUXE. Dans le Vieux-Longueuil. Rien de moins. A+. À plus.
