I walked to this store today around 6:30 pm (today) because Google said it was open until 7 pm. I was excited to try it for the first time.

When I arrived, I tried to ask if they were still open. The owner frowned & shouted that the store was closed, which felt unnecessary & very unwelcoming. Because of this experience, I will not be returning, & I will let everyone in my circle know about how I was treated so they can make an informed decision.

Some of the best, most authentic Polish food in Montreal! I tried the handmade pierogies, borscht, kielbasa, potato pancakes & coleslaw - everything was delicious. Although they are currently renovating (the dining area was closed), the owner kindly let me buy some frozen items, which were great at home. Located conveniently between the Ville Lasalle library & fire station, I'll definitely be back when they reopen in March! The dining space is small but cozy, & I believe they also have a food truck & do catering. A hidden gem!

As soon as you walk into the store, you are hit with the unmistakeable atmosphere of a Polish mom & pop shop. It's warm, cozy, & folksy. The owner (at least I assume; I regret not asking his name & will correct that in a future review) was incredibly kind & friendly, & from our chat you can tell that he cares deeply for the quality of their food & service. The pierogis & cabbage salad we took with us were incredibly delicious & very reasonably priced, & finally properly satisfied a craving my wife has had for years!

The restaurant is currently (Feb 2026) undergoing renovations, however they should be up & running in March, & in the meantime you can still order food to take out. We will definitely be going again, both for takeout & to dine in once it opens!

Hands down the best pierogies I have had in years. The way they make it is traditional & quite frankly the taste is like the ones I had in Poland. Fresh & tasty!!

We chose Pyza Foods to cater our wedding - they offered great recommendations & the whole process was smooth & efficient. Prices are reasonable &, most of all, the food was incredibly flavourful, authentic & fresh. Guests were fighting for seconds!
