Review Summary

Le Tropik restaurant-bar receives mixed feedback with service described as good while some find the food cafeteria quality for the price, though others are extremely happy with what is served. Renovations left a dining area set outside the restaurant beside the pool, which guests found workable. Initial worry about what would be served gives way to satisfaction with the food. Starters included Montreal smoked meat poutine and French onion soup, and mains featured seafood pasta, fish and chips, chicken linguini, and chicken parmigiana, all described as delicious and well chosen. Overall, the place is recommended to visitors staying in the area.

Be aware this hotel is currently under renovation. We were not informed at time of reservation or check in. Our room was partially finished, door would not open completely as the floor is uneven, paint on fixtures & seating furniture was non existent. (Mgmnt is aware)
The walls are paper thin, if you’re a light sleeper that may be important to you. Lots of hallway noise throughout the night. Would have checked out & found another hotel if I had time.
Rates are overpriced for what you currently get. The airport shuttle is their selling feature, nice clean van & friendly driver.
